If you had some Extra Magic Hours in the World Showcase and wanted to take your time going from country to county but not planning a sit-down meal, what fast snacks or small plates of food would you pick up along the way?:earboy2:

Grey Goose Slush in France to go with my Napolean from the Patisserie. Some nachos and a margarita from Mexico. Egg Rolls and a Cantaloopy from China, and a Pretzel bread from Norway! Maybe go back to France for a Grand Marnier Slush!

School Bread from Norway
Some of the caramel from the new shop in Germany

We try to "eat our way around the World" every time we go. I have to second the choices above and add: hummus from Morocco, maybe a small plate of sushi from Japan, funnel cake from the American pavilion (if you do not get it where you live), wine from Italy (they have this great one called Rosa Regalia AND they have chocolates you can grab and make a small snack out of), and in the UK I would get a small order of fish & chips (they have candy bars in the shops as well). I'm not sure about Canada....the only time I ate in that pavilion was during the F&W festival.

Have a great time!

They had a new soup in Norway when we were there in September... Cauliflower soup. It was SOOOOO good!! Cheesy, creamy, and a snack credit! I'll be getting another on our return trip in January!! Can't WAIT!

My daughter and I did this in 2008 - Nachos in Mexico, Skool bread in Noraway, Pastries in France, Bratwurst in Germany, sushi in Japan, Egg Rolls in China, wonderful pastry in Moracco -can't remember Canada though!

Will plan on doing this again this December!

Definitely School Bread in Norway!

Also, I got a cinnamon sugar pretzel at a little stand that was VERY good!!

Have a glass of wine in France!!

School Bread sounds interesting...well, everything mentioned sounds interesting! Thank you all for your suggestions.

We aren't on any meal plan and I want to make sure we try lots of things so we'll share snacks...um...except a pastry from France. :rotfl: And we'll have to pace ourselves. I can hardly wait for January!
