I guess I'll find that out when I get there, lol. I just assumed it was a big pickle, breaded and deep fried on a stick like a corn dog. Never having seen or eaten one I didn't know, lol.

I have the perfect fall snack for a party or get together, but beware, it's addictive!!!! I found it in a magazine and made it for DD's baby shower as it was in October.

You buy a bag (or two depending on how much you like them) of spiced gum drops (not the fruit flavor, the spicy ones).
You buy two bags of candy corn.
You buy a can of cashews (my preference) or salted peanuts.

You dump them all in a big bowl and mixed it up. The salted, spicy and sweet taste together is excellent. They went thru that stuff like you wouldn't beleive at the shower. I've since made it to put out at work and I put a pile of kitchen size dixie cups out for them to scoop some and take back to their desks.

As I said, "Warning" it is addictive not to mention fattening, lol.

I like almonds when they are in mixed nuts but not much on their own. I loved slivered almonds in green beans though.

That's my DGS's favorite snack. He is 3 and goes and gets the can of cheese and the crackers out of the pantry and comes and sits down at his little table and gets a paper plate and then he has his snack. Good one, lots of protein!

Speaking of food, going to go eat the crab cakes and onion browned potatoes now.Will be back later to find out who is eating what for dinner tonight!!!

I had not had canned cheese since I was a kid, but my fiance had some months ago. I first turned up my nose, but decided to try it again and fell in love! Your DGS has good taste in snacks!

It's a processed meat product and its only sold in the NJ area. It originated in Trenton, NJ. It's made from pork scraps sort of like hot dogs are made but it's round and comes in slices or a roll that you slice yourself. You fry it up and you can have it on a kaiser roll with cheese, you can make a breakfast sandwich, you can have it as a side meat with your eggs. On the NJ Boardwalk there used to be food places that were called Taylor Pork Roll, that's all they served there and boy was it ever popular.

Ummmmmm...I love blueberries. They are even better when you pick them from your bushes!! We had blackberry bushes galore on our land. They rippened right as the tractors were out there to start clearing. I was speed eating them!!
