Snacking around WS

Just wondering what some of your favorite places to grab a snack or drink in World Showcase are. We think it would be fun to sample a little of everything from the different countries in leiu of dinner. Any suggestions?

Just tried a beaver tail last yr and that was good but my favorite place to buy snacks is at the bakery in France. Talk about being in heaven

I love to snack around the world. Our favorites are:

Norway for a pretzel covered in icing with raisins. Yum!
Kaka gori in Japan
Yakatori House has snack size options.
France bakery - Eclairs

A margarita in Mexico! It isn't a snack, but it is a must do every trip!

I used to swear by the Beavertails in Canada, until our last trip when I tried the Funnel Cakes in America. Both DH and I liked them more than Beavertails...and thats not easy. I still do like the Beavertails of course, but prefer the Funnel Cakes.

Churros, chips and salsa, and margarita in Mexico.
Kaki Gori frozen drink (like a snow cone) in Japan.
Pastry in France (all of them are yummy!)
Turkey leg in America (though you can get this at MK and MGM as well)

We went to the lounge in Japan for a sushi appetizer
Had my first beaver tail in Canada (good but way too sweet, could have used less sauce on it)
Cup of cheddar cheese soup in Canada (Le Celllier)
Layered Margarita in Mexcio..

I hope they still have them, but there is a little refreshment stand in between Germany and China (right before the bridge) that serves the best frozen strawberry drinks. Kind of like a virgin daiquiri. They are the best and I can't wait to get one when we go in 3 weeks.

The moroccan mint tea in Morocco and the crepes outside of France! Oh, and rice pudding in Norway.

wait a minute...is this why I'm having trouble with my weight? Oh well, will take another lap to walk it off!!

And of course, my DH enjoys the beers all the way around the lagoon....

I didn't have one last time, but wanted one it looked so good---the huge bavarian pretzels in Germany.

Funnel cakes in USA are darn good too.

Someone else who thinks just like I do. Also, at the French bakery, they have a wonderful fruit and cheese plate. Not much, but then you feel "justified" going back for dessert. Kind of takes away the guilt of the day before for me, when I ate 2 different pastries from the French bakery-one for my meal, the other for dessert. And those pretzels are great!

i think these are all my favorites as well, except for the turkey leg. Love the cheese soup in Canada. Tried the beaver tails, but wasn't thoroughly impressed- i like funnel cake better. Kaki Gori is a must do and we loved the ham/cheese croissant in france. Nachos in mexico!

I LOVE to snack around the World Showcase. Love the margaritas and the beef taco salads at the Cantina in Mexico (I know that's more than just a snack ;-), tiramisu outside of Italy, anything from the bakery in France, and the things I HAVE to have while there are the great big pretzels from the cart in Germany accompanied by a Beck's beer. DH bought a 6 pack of Beck's in bottles when we got home to remind us of Epcot but they just didn't taste the same!
