Snacking around World Showcase; what are your must-eats?

Hi DISers! I'm heading to WDW with my fella in November of this year (his first time ever, my first time since I was 18 in 2002), and I'm looking for snack and/or quick service food recommendations around World Showcase. We decided that instead of tying ourselves to a couple of pricey sit-down reservations on that day, it would be more fun to wander around the lagoon, eating little stuff from each country along the way. We both have moderately adventurous palates (me probably a bit more than him), and we'll each have between $40 and $50 to spend on the endeavor. Oh, and no, we won't be there during the Food & Wine Festival, alas. So what are your "can't miss" items when you're snacking in World Showcase? Again, we'd like to at least try something from each pavilion, and desserts are definitely fair game! Go go Disney hive-mind! :)

Ohh definately Chips in the UK and I love the Garlic pastry thing in France! I think Japan has sushi on its menu. Theres great pastries in morocco (can't remember the name of them but they are yummy). Italy have some nice desserts in the Wine Cellar (next to Tutto Italia) and you can even get 3 and a dessert wine for $15. Norway has some nice desserts too - in fact most places have great desserts.

Baklava and or almond pastry in Morrocco
Fish and chips in the UK
Brat and kraut and or Strudel in Germany
Pastry in Norway
pastry and or ham and cheese croissant in France

We do this, too...rather than sit down meals, we snack our way around the World Showcase. Saves time and gives us a chance to try lots of new foods. We love the sausages at Sommerfest in Germany, the pork buns and egg rolls at the kiosk outside China, the fish and chips in the UK (Yorkshire), and treats in France are a MUST (Boulangerie). We always get a Napoleon and a chocolate mousse to share amongst our fam. Nachos from the Cantina are good, and this year my personal most-looked-forward-to snack is a caramel cupcake from Karamell-Kuche in Germany--YUM!

Nachos and a churro in Mexico washed down by a frozen marguarita! The first thing we do after check-in. LOL.

Baklava in Morocco

Salted caramel from Karamel Kuche (actually anything from Karamel Kuche is great)

Good plan!:thumbsup2 I would suggest ANYTHING from Karamell Kuche in Germany, you just can't go wrong there. Have fun!!

I didn't care for the ice cream with grand marnier in France. It was flavorless. I should have gone to Italy for gellato.

Another vote for the salted caramel from Karamel Kuche!
School bread or a sweet pretzel from the bakery in Norway.
Eclair or creme brulee from the bakery in France.
Guacamole and a margarita from La Cava de Tequila.

May I ask what flavor you had?

I don't remember. I picked two flavors and the wife picked two others and we tried each other's. They were relatively bland and the addition of the alcohol added very little to the experience.

Never mind the ADRs here, this is also our preferred dining method at Epcot; we call it "Nosh Around the World" :)
