Good evening!

My trip to Disney is fast approaching, and I have had no luck deciding where to eat when my fiance and I have our evening alone. I've debate and researched, but I don't know what to do. While watching Disney World Unwrapped, it popped into my head to snach through the parks instead of an expensive sit down dinner. What do you guys think? Any suggestions? We go on a yearly basis, so I'll always be able to do it another year. Price isn't too much of a problem. I can't afford V&A, but I can afford most anything else...I think. So, let me know what you think would be a fun, romantic type thing to do. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

a nice sit-down at one of the resorts would be romantic in my opinon. have you considered: Artist Point at WL, Jiko at AKL, or California Grill at the contemp? any of these would be perfect.

We love to Eat Around the World in Epcot. This serves a few purposes for us. First, we don't have to decide where to eat because we're eating everywhere. Second, we don't have to bother making PS. Third, we get to taste something from each country instead of filling up on a big meal in one and missing out on all the other countries.

How many days will you be there for? If your there for a few days, and want a romantic dinner then consider Caligornia Grill, or Narcoosee's. On the day you go to the MK, walk around with one of those delecious turkey legs, In Epcot, travel from country trying alittle bit of everything. We're going next week & I only made a few ps's for sit downs. I'm waiting to get to that turkey leg in the MK. After all the years we been there we never tried one. THen another night or two, we're going to Epcot, to try that GREAT sounding school bread in Norway. The wonderful fish & chips in england, and the Kaki Gori (shaved ice) in Japan. I've been dieting for alooooonnnng time, just for disney. So my advice to you, after I babbled & babbled is go to 1 or 2 sit down dinners & the rest walk around the parks & sample it all.

We find that nicer sit-down meals are not that much more expensive, and the food is far better. Also, it's nice to actually sit down in A/C for a while to get a breather... Of course, there's no right or wrong way to eat: you're at WDW!

Enjoy your trip!

Most of our meals are sit down, I can get three courses at a sit down instead of just a burger. Epcot is a fab place to eat around the world by just snacking.

Why not do a bit of both? We are just back from the Swan and we had breakfast up in the club level, followed by snacking on most days as needed until our late lunch PS came up. Lunch was a great escape from the heat and humidity. We always felt recharged afterwards! There were a few days we did sitdowns for both lunch and dinner, but the lunch sit down was always more needed for a break than dinner was. Dinner was a bonus to a great day!

We do the 'eat and drink our way around the world' method at Epcot and love it! It is usually the highlight of our trip. To get out of the heat/weather we usually get an appetizer or salad at Chefs de France...they are usually pretty good about letting us eat at the wine bar. We have also gone into the Matsu NoMa (SP) lounge in Japan, the Rose & Crown, and the waiting area of the San Angel Inn in Mexico to have a drink and appetizer....going into these areas gives us the best of both worlds. We get a respite from the weather and hustle, have a quiet drink and snack and then move on! We stop in some or all of these places as we stroll through all the pavillions seeing the shows, shops and sights. We usually start in the late afternoon and then find a wonderful place to watch Illuminations. This is our favorite thing to do on our trip!
