My DW and I are going to WDW In Aug, we will be on the deluxe dining plan and are looking for suggestions for using our snack credits. Last trip we had 18 snack credits left at the end of our trip and ended up getting a lot of candy from the shop at AKL to use them up. What are your favorite snack items to use your credits on?

We love the big containers of fresh mixed fruit at a lot of the resort CS locations. We loaded and munched on it all the way home. Nice after a week of too much junk.

Glad you like the list! There's so much more to choose from out there than popcorn, ice cream, and sodas.

Enjoy!

Yeah but for some reason my kids are mostly attracted to those silly ice cream carts. Even when I try to convince them to go somewhere for a great sundae or float - nope, boring ice cream on a stick. LOL

The first time we used the DDP we had quite a bit of snack credits left because there were 5 of us there for 11 nights. I ended up getting a lot of those Chocolate dipped Mickey Rice Crispie treats and also got boxes and bags of candy from the resort gift shop. But the first time we used the QSDP you still got 2 snack credits per person per day so we had 10 credits a day times 11! We were snacking fools and still couldn't use them all up.

My favorite things to use them up on while in the parks is a Dole Whip FLoat in MK, a Napoleon at the bakery in France at Epcot or Napoleon at Starring Rolls in HS. My husband will also get a funnel cake. You can get one as a snack at MK. The one at EPcot you have to pay for, which makes no sense.

We used our last 5 at Goofy's Candy Co at DTD. Good value for the money.

We stopped at Goofy's last year after on our last day to use up our last SC as well. Might be hard to believe but after having a DDP almost every trip since 2005 (9 times) it was the first time we got the dipped treats.:confused3 It was pretty fun-just remember to allow plenty of time. It can take awhile to get your treats made. We went in pretty early in the day so it wasn't too bad but it can get backed up.

Here's our's after the plane ride home-

DD's

This was mine-he's head broke off but was still pretty tasty. I didn't really like the chocolate/peanut butter/gingerbread together, but it was pretty tasty eaten separately.

This one was for my sister-all the chocolate drizzle fell off-wouldn't stick to the graham cracker crumbs! I was trying to recreate her fav treat-apple pie caramel apple.

The CM's bagged them up for us. :thumbsup2
