Smugglers Run / Galaxy's Edge RD or Late in May

First of all I am aware that HS will be one of the most crowded parks all day but what is the best technique to avoid the highest crowds.... Would it be best to do Smugglers run at rope drop and then remain in the land? Hit Run away railway then hit Smugglers run and stay in the land doing RNR and TOT late evening? Or do Smugglers run and Galaxy's Edge in the evening and Runaway Railway, tot and RNR in the evening? Just thinking people may run to the new areas of the park first thing and might actually be better in the evening..... without FP this is a whole new game I have yet to experience... Just a side note I will be traveling with teens and active seniors but would like to avoid back tracking if possible... Also our HS day will last Wednesday in May.

Smugglers Run you will want to do right around opening or last thing in the day, as any other time you will see very long waits. Runaway Railway seems to get busy very quickly as well, so you will need to rope drop one or the other.
