I get motionsickness very easily. Is there a certain month that is smoother, or certain months to avoid? Thanks

I also get motion sickness very easily. I felt better on the ship..than on dry land..lol.

I took dramamine the morning before we left. I had my sea bands with..only had to use them the first night of our first cruise..they were excellent.

Second cruise..took dramamine the morning before we left. Never had to take anything after that.

My hubby couldn't believe it.

My DM gets thought she would get sick going on our 2nd DCL cruise like she did the first time but she wore little wrist bands that seemed to help her!!

not sure about that, but would probably say avoid June - November..... hurricane season. Bet it is rougher then.

Take the precautions and seabands and bonine and you should be fine any time. good luck.

I get incredibly motion sick. As a kid I'd go out on my dad's boat, take Dramamine, fall asleep and get sunburned. Ohhh, fun! So I figured a cruise was out of the question.

My first three I took bonine the morning we embarked and then one in evening and one in the morning every day until disembarkation. Never had a problem even in 15 ft waves we had last December.

This last trip I took bonine for the first 3 or 4 days of the trip then stopped. Still didn't have a problem at all, even with the 12-13 ft waves we had.

Guess there is a difference between a 28 ft. boat and a 964 ft ship! :)
