Does anyone out there know any websites, etc. that offers discounts for tourist attractions in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge Tennesse area? We are taking the kids to the mountains for a few days in a couple of weeks and would love to cut costs if possible. Ideally I would love to find some discounts for Dollywood and the aqarium. We already have lodging taken care of.

Thanks in advance

Laura

I have been to Pigeon Forge 8-9 times in the last several years and we stopped at a Welcome Center right beside I-40. We asked about tickets they had available and they had aquarium tix B1G1 free. But I have never had any discounts on Dollywood tickets. You can watch ebay...I recently saw a coupon on there for sale where you recieve 5.00 off each ticket. Hope that helps. Have a great time. We are going down in December... :earsgirl:

If by chance any of you are military(active duty or reservist) the Aquarium gives a GREAT discount. Our family went last summer and my husband is a reservist and happened to ask if they had a discount. And we ended up (I believe) it was the price we would have paid for one adult ticket for all 4 of us to get in. I hope this helps someone.

Coke cans here did have a Dollywood discount on them. I haven't bought any canned drinks lately, so I'm not sure if the offer is still on there.

My daughter worked there for four years before quitting recently. We're going to miss the free and discounted tickets!

Definelty check the welcome centers. That is what we did too. We got some $1-2 off admissions, 15% off dinner, things like that.

Where are you staying? We've done the Travelodge right up a hill in downtown Gaitlinburg. It was directly up the road across from the ski lift.

We've then also did a cabin rental 2 yrs ago about 2 miles up a mountain from Dollywood. This was a lot of fun. The cabin was out of this world gorgeous.

ripleys has different deals. We did one that was admission to 3 of the attractions. I think it was around $30. I really can't remember.

My Husbands business partner owns a condo in Gatlinburg, so he offered it to us free of charge for the week!!! In fact thats pretty much the only reason we decided to go, this is our third vacation this year, Disney in May, the beach in July, so we are looking to make it as cheap of a trip as possible. I sure appreciate all your help.

God Bless!,

Laura

Stop by one of the Cracker Barrell's in Sevierville or Pigeon Forge. Last time I was there they had $5.00 off Dollywood coupons by the register. I live 5 minutes outside Pigeon Forge, so I know that they still had these a couple of days ago. Enjoy your visit!!!

Sorry but Chattanooga is only 2 hours away from Pigeon Forge. But it could be 3 hours cause of the traffic.

Wow, you must drive FAST. I've never made it 150 miles in 2 hours, especially considering Parkway Traffic, then Knoxville's never ending road construction!

newscick27, If you stop at a welcome center for discounts, be sure to stop at the first one you see, it's on the right, from exit 407. That one is a combined efforts from the three cities, Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The other ones are time share sales stations. There are many discount ticket brochures - at every store, restaurant, gas station, etc. - most brochures have the same discounts per business (you won't find $5 off in one brochure, $7 in another). It's hard to find discounts for Dollywood. One of their offers you might want to take advantage of is *after 3, next day free* - you can use the first day to figure out what you really want to do the next, maybe see some shows or whatever, then be there at opening the next day.

There is a trolley, it's .25 per person, pretty good deal!

Just fyi...you can subscribe without posting. Go to the "Thread Tools" pulldown menu at the top right of a thread and choose "Subscribe to this Thread".

Hope that helps others!
