Smoking as part of the Timeshare Contract?

You know, another post in another thread has brought up an interesting question (at least to me).

I know smoking threads are a pandora's box on these boards and are geneerally forbidden or at least confined to a couple of tightly controlled threads. I DO respect that but I have a question with relation specifically to DVC and more specifically; DVC ownership.

Without reading my entire owners' contract again, does anybody know if there are clauses specifically addressing smoking at, in and/or around the resorts in the contract?

I'm really not trying to ensue an argument about smoking. I'm just looking a sincere answer to a sincere question as it relates to DVC ownership.

As DVC Resorts are operated under a contract with the WDW Resort Management, and the fact that DVC Resorts also rent cash rooms though WDW Travel, whatever smoking policy is in place for WDW as a whole, applies to DVC Resorts.

As it is a WDW-wide Resort management decision, and not a DVC specific smoking policy, and because it turns into a very hot topic here, we do not allow ANY smoking discussions on the DVC Forums. Sorry, I need to close this thread.
