Yes, I am a speech therapist. I work for the school system in an elementary schools. I do articulation therapy, or help children who can't produce certain sounds. In addition, I work on reading. I also help children with language, understanding and spoken language, like grammar. It is wonderful!

How do you get them to pronouce words correctly. I think that when E goes to per-k in August he will need speech. He calls Hannah nana and there are more words that he does not pronounce right. I went when I was in Elem for a few years. I loved my teacher. :goodvibes

By teaching them where to produce the sounds in their mouths. A lot of times, children just need a model!
