How's the lei project going? I wanted to ask you. Are you making flower leis, ribbon, leis, or what? I went to a dance with a fantastic guy who's Samoan and he brought me a flower lei instead of a corsage. .

I had made flower leis. Made a total of 17, and my daughter brought in the most for her class. Other students brought in a count of 10, 2, and 1. I would have thought that more kids would bring in leis, but guess not. I have to start picking flowers again on Monday or Tuesday to make leis for Friday which is the May Day program at school.

I was going to create a gift application on FB called, "Get Leied" and give out leis , but FB required accessing photos from my computer which I wasn't comfortable with so, the project idea has been dumped. Plus, the title was iffy along .- hahaha.

These were little leis just for the graves, but it took me about 1 1/2 hours to make 17 of them. And that was with my daughter helping me sort out the flowers.

I found beautiful leis while surfing yahoo pictures last night. I just didn't like the idea of FB having access to my pictures to be passed out to everyone else who uses/used the application.
