There might be a case of swine flu in the next county over from us. Said she recently was on vacation in Texas close to the Mexican border.

Since I wrote this now there are several cases in our area but I am not going into panic mode, they said generally it is not as bad a strain as it is in Mexico.

There has been the first reported death within the U.S. from the swine flu. A 23 month old toddler.

That really is sad, I think the child lived in the US but originally was from Mexico. I think that is what I heard, so she may have had the more deadly strain.

So sorry SC, I didn't know who he was but he must of been a very good entertainer. The obit didn't say what he died of, have they found out yet?

He was voted top headliner in Vegas for something like 11 yrs straight. He was also a very good singer and has a couple of CD's out.

He raised more than 2 million for charity. Was a christian and always prayed with his crew before each show. Married 28 yrs and had 3 kids.

Wow, I just watched those videos and he was an amazing talent, he sounded just like the artist he was imitating.

The video I have he even does Nat King Cole and Natalie singing a duet.

The Mirage video shows him closer up. The encore video shows a few more acts he did but is not close up. I wish that one also showed close ups for the facial expressions. I am so sad for his family.

I read an article years ago that said he took his act to Vegas so that his family could be together, his kids were missing him too much when he was on the road.
