click a person and click challenge, I read on their boards you can wager on it... not sure how tho.

After you click on the person and click the challenge button, a box pops up where you can click up and down arrows to increase or decrease the amount of tokens you want to wager. Once you do that, you hit the "send challenge" button (or whatever it says) and wait for the person to accept. I won 5 tokens that way today

LOL. here too. schools closed 3 hours early cause of heat. My son was out playing in a lacrosse tournament all weekend; it was miserable.

But, isn't that what garden hoses are for?

That is very true, but it would have been nice for everyone to play. I was thinking maybe they could convert it make it suitable for playing for kids, like parental control for example, just thinking out of the box here lol

I'm just going to jump on the bandwagon here. I actually suggested this to them. A way for me to allow the kids to play only seeing selected friends chat (like mine, King's and a few trusted Dis folks my kids knew from VMK) and not allowing them to view any videos/hear any music except their own. This apparently will not be happening as the kids version will not be linked with the adult game at all. Sad for us as we are looking for a game the family can play together.

This game is very creative and incorporates lots of neat stuff, but please parents try this out yourself first. I was in a room with some other VMK moms when the song being played was dropping f bombs like crazy. Even just trying to shop, I have had some very lude remarks. So be careful.

If you are a parent and you are having your child play this game, I would also like to point out that not every youtube video is rated G, so I would either say no to youtube videos on this game or watch them VERY closely, or you can also contact Smallworlds staff and see what they can do about it. It is the same way with music, some songs are not always family friendly, I suggest that someone could suggest to have it set to where only some features work with the accounts to the parent's choices.

We learned this today when I was looking for some Kiss videos I love the band!! But, the band wasn't the first video to pop up. Luckily no kids were around.

Had a visit from Angela Smallworlds. She showed us 2 not sure what they call them magics effects? She said we would get them someday based on missions and what level we are.

The staff at SW are so nice. Angela came and hung out with us tonite to. I loved the matrix aura she showed us. Shes not a developer like Juliana, I believe she mentioned something about the art end of the site. They sure seem to love the vmk community. Soon as she came in Sweets room she said your vmk right? lol

Haha we are busted. They can spot us VMKers a mile away. Yes she did tell us that she works in the art department for SW and that they have a great small group. She also told us what a nice bunch we VMKers are

Hi,

Something ink was told when talking to staff about the raidos in public spaces. The staff person told him to click on the radio and slide the volume slider all the way to the left. This will mute the radio but not the other sounds in the room. We tried it and it works great. So no first thing i do when I enter a public room is mute the radio!

We also had a chat last night from a staff member. He stayed quite a while and they definitely do appreciate the input from us. I won't say his title because it was a play title and even tho he let us know he was a staff member not sure he wants it blasted all over the internet ROFL

Anyways he was answering questions and then he said he was a small word staff member. So I did what any good VMKer would do. I reported him ROFL

He asked why I reported him, and I said I don't believe staff impersonation would be tolerated. At that point he started using an aura to let us know he really was a staff member ROFL.

He told us they are reading the DISboards threads here so they are appreciative of us beating up their beta getting it ready for them. Remember to not only share your experiences here with us, but be sure to report issues on their real forums as well. Thats where they notice the bugs and the features suggestions best.

They seem incredibly nice and I guess its pretty cool to see we are appreciated also.

So yes you can report a staff member in SmallWorlds if anyone was wondering
