This is such a great game! I cant wait to get money and beable to buy furnish. I love how you can buy Tvs and watch Youtube videos with friends.. or make a playlist of music on the stereo and play games. Very cool game!! I think I've finally found my vmk replacement. WOOT Altho its def not for little kids, the chat can be somewhat filtered to where you'll see bad words like this #$%^@# but you can also take the filter off and not be restricted at all.

I like the chat filter, but I would like restrictions on the public rooms' music selections. Some of the tunes playing at the Cue Club yesterday made ME blush! So, while the filter works for chat, it does NOT work to block violent/profane lyrics from the stereos. Maybe, now that the developers know where we came from, we could start a little email campaign to restrict the public stereos from playing songs rated above a PG-13 level? I guess I should play with the sounds off when I'm doing missions...that's the biggest issue I have with SW, atm. The chat bubbles can easily be ignored, the song lyrics cannot.

This game does not encompass all of what VMK has, but the features it shares with VMK directly, it is far superior.

I can't believe I am already hooked into another game. I kept looking and playing everything and now I am completely immersed ROFL.

Nobody can help me with seeqpod tho huh? COME ON I NEED MY VMK RAP IN DA GAME!

Oh and I am on the mini golf game. I dont want to make my firends suffer through the game for me, it would be cool to get 3 other people who need that mission also Then 4 people could advance in one shot woot!

ETA: Mims, they would have to stop using seeqpod in order to have a chance at what your saying. They can pull anything in that exists on seeqpod which is a search engine. Just like it wouldnt be able to resitrict the youtube videos or the flickr pictures. I think a good compromise would be letting us get into blank instances like VMK did for people who want to stay away from the public room music choices.

I heard some absolutely horrilbe songs yesterday, but I don't want them to change a thing with the music choices. When someone put on a song I did not appreciate, I just left the public area. This place is adult oriented. I see it as a place where our VMK characters grew up . The search engine is fabulous and I would hate to see it taken away because of complaints.

How does littlebelle get rid of her freckles. Can we change rooms I think mine it too small Big dreams I have.

I am on the rumor mission. What do I need to start a rumour?

You can change the way your character looks by clicking the wrench on your character's little floating card thing on the home screen.

I don't think you can change your room for another one

I don't understand the credit question

You can gift things to other accounts. It's an option when you click an item that is in your inventory. All you need is the other account's name. You don't have to get them both into the game at the same time.

I am confused over the trading thing, I heard somewhere or read somewhere they stopped giving credits to the other accounts because people were trading their credits from those accounts to the main one. Yet I have not noticed a way to trade yet, so I am just not sure.

One thing I would like to mention to them is about the friend's list. I don't like that others can add me as a friend and follow me around and they are not on my list. While I don't worry about any DISers stalking, who knows about the possibility of other strange people playing the game? This would be a somewhat safety issue for me.
I do like how we can search for a name and add it to our list without them being online. But, it should be a friends request instead of just a simple add.
That's my opinion anyway.

I'm wondering if the reset would be because almost everything will be charged for after beta. That free play would basically be nothing but chatting with people. I hope not.

I think Im blind or something because I cant find the register button. Can anyone help this 40 something accountant figure out how to register? I feel so dumb today!!

At first, I assumed I would be looking for a trade feature like we had in VMK. So I made a second character but I couldn't get him online at the same time as my main character. As soon as I logged a character in one browser the other character was kicked out. I assumed this was because they were both on the same account. So I set up a new account with a new email address and everything. I had the same problem even running one account in Explorer and the other in Firefox.

I'd be interested to know how households with two players are doing this. They can't be blocking the second logon by the IP, session or cookie. So what's the trick?

Anyway, I played the character on the second account and had no trouble doing the missions and earning tokens. I just spent tokens on the stuff I wanted and gifted those items to my main account. I never played the second character that I made on my first account so I don't know if he would have gotten tokens for doing the missions or not.

Thanks Petez, I had the same issue. I thought I was just being a n00b and doing something wrong. Curious to know if anyone can do it.

I really don't think you need an invite. I didn't have one when I signed up yesterday.

Click the yellow "Go there now" button on the homepage. Make your character. It seemed to strange to me to make the character before I gave them my email address and set up the account but that's how it worked. After you make the character go back the homepage. I don't remember exactly how it happened but the homepage was different and it should be more apparent how to enter the game at that point. Then, you will be asked to agree to the TOS and give up some personal info to finish creating the account.

Is there a yellow button on the home page? Just under the user email and password area? Click on that to start getting registered. It will take you through the avatar creation, etc. If that yellow button is gone, I'd be happy to send you an email invite, although I sent one to my other email account and never did receive it.

Click the orange button that says "Go There Now", (not the log in button, not the put in email infor). It will take you through the process of creating a avatar first, then takes your title/log in information at the end of the process.
