I was hoping to do the ziprider in Icy Strait Point this summer but with only 5 months to go and my son is only 65lbs (required 75lbs), don't think its going to happen. We don't want to split up the family and wondering reviews for the smaller adventure park/zipline course. TIA

We tried to do the adventure course last summer. It was cancelled when we got on the ship, due to a really bad storm they had had a few days before. Instead, we did a walking/exploration tour, that went through the area. A lot of the trees were damaged unfortunately.

I would say the ziprider looked terrifying but the Tree Top Adventure, looked very fun - nothing seemed terribly high up and it was in a beautiful area.

Here's a picture of us flying over part of the course (you can see nets and different paths).

Do you remember seeing the ziplines in this area?
No, it was just the ropes course. I think the only zipline is the big one.

I wasn't always afraid of heights, it came on after my son was born strangely enough. DH and I were dying when we rode up the side of the mountain and DS kept saying "this is awesome" and I was like "get me out of here!"...and then it paused for a minute (which it does sometimes apparently, to let people on who need more time) and it was "Nooooo I can't be stuck up here" - anyway, still traumatized a little bit.

And yes, he was waaaay too small for the zipline, not even 50lbs! I'm looking at a possible zip line in St. Lucia this spring, and he would barely be the waist circumference minimum, so I think we're going to have to skip.

The 3 levels we could go on all have 2 or 3 ziplines listed but wondering if they are new or just really small. This kid would go on the big one in a heartbeat if they let him!

Level 1 Family Course: For ages 7 and up – easy level obstacle course with 14 obstacles, including 2 ziplines.
Level 2 Family Course: For ages 7 and up – medium level obstacle course with 15 obstacles, including 3 ziplines.
Level 3 Challenge Course: For ages 7 and up – intermediate level obstacle course with 13 obstacles, including 2 ziplines.

I was hoping the other poster saw them. So much to take in on a first visit.

(The transport gondola at ISP is not high. And you can walk between the two port areas.)
Yeah, unfortunately that was the third time we’ve gotten off the ship that day, so I guess I was all photographed out!
