Last year, we took a midsize stroller that had a big canopy and reclines, loaded with cup holders, tray, etc. DD1 did fine in this, and napped with no problems. What DH and I did not like was lugging the stroller on the bus, and the fact that it got destroyed by the airlines on the way back home. The airline replaced my stroller with an equivalent one, but I am hesitating bringing this back for our next trip, when DD will be 2. I do have an umbrella stroller, but it is not as padded, no drink holders, and does not recline all the way. At 2, would you bring an umbrella stroller or a midsize? We usually go back to the room at least once in the afternoon, but I would like DD to be able to nap when she feels like it. I would not rent a stroller, because we go to the outlets and use it other times when we are not in the parks. I would love to use the stroller swap, but then I wouldn't have a stroller for the airport.
