How many of the dolls in IT'S A SMALLWORLD ARE SMILING?
This is a very interesting thing to do while riding thru the ride.

Ah, if only I hadn't vowed never to ride this again (half-jokingly). The last time I took the happy little voyage, the boats wound up getting very backed up and I began to go slowly but surely insane. Ever see that episode of the Simpsons where the go to Duff Gardens and visit the "It's A Duff World After All" ride? At one point, Lisa begins to lose her mind (after tasting the water). That was me... short of declaring, "I am the lizard queen!"

I'm always drawn to this attraction... and yet, once I'm on it, I lose all interest and begin thinking, "Oh, lord, how many more rooms are we going to have to sail through?"

And yet... how many are smiling... a challenge...


No! No, darn it, just say NO! LOL

Great Simpson's reference JerseyDizDreamer!

We were in MK on 11/5 and while riding IASW my DS12 recalled one of Marge's sisters (can't remember which!) saying, "drink the water Lisa".

Was it the same episode where Bart couldn't find a license plate with his name on it, but they did have one with the name "Bort"?

It most certainly was! The episode is titled Selma’s Choice. Deciding she wants to have a baby, Selma ‘practices” by taking the kids to Duff Gardens. Bart gets stuck on a roller coaster, while Lisa gets sick after drinking the water on the "Little Land Of Duff" ride, which is a major Small World rip-off, with all the little dolls drinking duff beer! There's also the Duff LIght parade, featuring the Statue Of Liberty, which happens to be drinking a beer. They also have the Seven Duffs (instead of Dwarves), includint Tipsy, Queasy and my personal favorite, Surly. It may also be the episode (I can't quite remember) where they try on the "beer bottle glasses" which make whatever you look at appear as it would after getting drunk. Needless to say, someone looks at Selma with the glasses on and see's her as beautiful, takes the glasses off and... AHHHH!

Anyone catch the much-advertised season premiere of the Simpsons, featuring this great line from homer, who was taking his fugitive mom into hiding:

"I'm going to hide you where there's nobody around for miles and miles... Disney's California Adventure!"
