We just booked our first cruise through Small World Vacations. They were recommended by mousesavers. com. I didn't do any shopping around. The price seemed right, and the agent we have is REALLY quick to respond to e-mail and phone calls. She also gave me good advice about booking a second cruise--to wait and rebook on board to get the discounts, then to transfer it to her and get another discount from them. I can count on her for being honest and doing all she can to help us.
 
I have booked two DCL cruises with Denise at Small World Vacations and was very satisfied with the service.

I am working with Sandy at SWV and she has been very quick to respond to me as well.
 
I have used both Cissy & Leigh at SWT, excellent.
 
We booked our cruise (sept 05) with them, Kerri has been great to work with and always replies to my questions promptly.

we've been working with Leigh McCarty and she's been great -- answers all questions, quickly, very pleasant, very professional. We got quotes from some other places and they were all within a couple of hundred of each other, so the price is reasonable as well.
 
I'm also working with Sandy. She's been great and incredibly patient with us. It's our first trip to WDW and first cruise. We ended up making changes to our ressies 2x and had countless questions. She was wonderful through it all. :flower:
 
Not such a hot experience with them (None of the above mentioned travel agents). Slow to respond (went away for a month right before my cruise, had a 1-800 number that never worked ..you had to put in a code???), when I questioned something I had learned on the Disboards my agent got peeved about it and said that I should not believe everything I read. (the disboard was right..it was about calling Debbie to make the Romance Package reservations..my agent told me we should NEVER do that). This was last September.

Our cruise was shortened by one day due to hurricane and it proved difficult trying to understand refunds (40%) from agent. DCL actually refunded the money but would not explain it to me because we had a travel agent. The agent then had to explain. It was tiresome. Also had to request my "rebate" several times.

Finally, no enthusiasm, no kind words. All business. I guess some people prefer things that way. I like a little personality. Just my own humble opinion.
