Small update on Dec 8 Chef Mickey's before MVMCP

Just wanted to let you all know that I called Chef Mickey's again since they didn't return my call asking them if I can make the group ressie now or if I have to wait until 60 days out as the lady on the phone when I first called said I could make it at any time. I can only make it at either 120 days out or 60 days out. So on August 10 I will call Chef Mickey's and schedule our dinner time. The only time that they will do dinner is for a 5pm seating. They will take add-ons to the ressie amount up to 48 hours prior to the seating.

So just wanted to update you a bit and didn't want to put it on the original "roll-call" post and have it get lost and didn't want you all to think I was blowing off with the call!

So just a little over a month before we can make one of the first ressies!!!!! YYEEEEAAAAAAA!!!!!! Makes me more and more excited!

After I make the PS I'll put up an "official" post asking for people to check in so we can get a definite list going - or I'll have you PM me so we can keep track of this. The other post got way long because we were deciding where we were going to eat.

Thanks for the info Chris. This helps with my planning the group dinner before MVMCP on Dec. 3.

I need to put a vote before the group on where everybody would like to go, but this info will be helpful just in case they want to do Chef Mickey's.

I'd like to be able to find out if Tony's is going to have a character dinner or not.

Anybody know??????

Linda - Tony's will have a character breakfast and lunch when the Crystal Palace closes, but not a character dinner. I'm assuming Tony's won't add characters just for MVMCP nights.

I've never eaten at Chef Mickey's - so that would be fine with me. Are you also thinking of reinstating the PS at LTT?

Don't know Nancy........I think it really depends on what the majority of attendees would like to do.

I'm going to call LTT and see how many they can accomodate. But, I do know that when I called to make the PS originally, they were pretty booked up.

I also haven't thrown out the idea of doing a catered lite dinner somewhere in the MK (been talking to WDW special functions people). But, we'll need more attendees.

I'll keep everyone posted.

Linda...if you guys decide to go with Chef Mickey's you have to call Chef Mickey's directly - don't call CRO as they will direct you to group sales and group sales will tell you to call Chef Mickey's. Just an FYI.
