What dumb little thing bothers you waaaay more than it should?

Mine is the blinking light on the coffee pot - the one that signals it needs water. I have to make it stop, even if I don't plan on making coffee any time soon.

Pittsburgh lefts--when the first car at a stoplight waves the opposing car to make their left turn when the light changes to green, even though the car across the intersection doesn't have the right of way and is supposed to yield to oncoming cars. I've witnessed an accident caused by this and I think it's reckless and when I see people do it I get unreasonably angry. Sure it sucks being the driver who is trying to make a left turn against oncoming traffic, but we have traffic rules for good reason.

I am with Searc above. I have too many to list.

But most recent was this morning with DH...he left toilet unflushed with seat up, left closet door wide open, left dresser drawers partially opened. I walked in room and had to FIX all this....as I do EVERY day.

I would add to this - other drivers who try to "drive" for me. Telling me to go at a stop sign, when it really is their right of way. Or worse drivers who won't go at a stop sign if someone doesn't tell them they can.

That is the worst! My husband does the same. I can't tell you how many times I've gone into our bathroom, lifted the lid to go pee and find it already used. I have to flush before I use it and then I flush it again. What is the deal with guys leaving drawers and cupboards open? My son does it too and I don't get it. :confused3

I don't know if it is a "guy thing" really. I always close cabinets but when I was younger living in a house with my mom and sister, they left cabinets open all the time and I used to smack into them in the middle of the night as I was much taller than they were. It annoyed me so much!

When two (or more) people, or a person and their dog, take up the whole sidewalk and refuse to go single file so people can pass. I am a runner and at least once every run I have to jump out into the street to get around the oblivious.
Aren’t runners supposed to run on the road? The majority of my town has sidewalks, but people walk on them. Do you expect two people going on a nice walk and talk should walk single file?

For me, it is spilling a drink. Nothing drives me more insane!

Do you mean if YOU spill the drink?
Or if someone else spills the drink?
If it's someone else, we won't be able to be friends as it's a favorite activity of mine. 😣

Cyclists that just took forever to finally pass safely, then I get to the intersection. Light turns red, I stop, said bikers pass every car waiting at the light and get back in front of me again.

People who waste your time in a "training" session, and they know less about the material than you do

Coworkers who don't bother to scroll down to read the whole email before asking you to send them something that is already there.

Yes, that has been my morning so far. Fun times!

No, runners are supposed to use the sidewalk. In my state, Virginia, that's actually the law. It's also the law in Maryland and Washington, DC. I'm not surre about your state, but most states consider runners to be pedestrians and therefore require them to act accordingly. My complaint also applies to when I'm walking though. I don't expect two people going on a nice walk to walk single file, unless people trying to walk the other way approach them. Then I expect them to only use half of the sidewalk. I'm shocked anybody would think that's unreasonable.

Don't know about this being called a Pittsburgh left. We have a ton of this stuff in the Atlanta area and I always chalk it up to the Southern politeness. This is so darn dangerous. People need to follow the legal rules of the road, pay attention when driving and clear the intersection as soon as possible. It is not that hard!
