Small Irritants

Today my irritant is people who call my office for information & then when I am finished answering all their questions they say 'hold on, let me get a pencil' then proceed to ask everyone around them if they have a pencil/paper. Or they repeat the info back totally wrong. Or they say 'hold on, let me get you to repeat that to my husband/wife/other.
I'll have something else tomorrow I'm sure.

My (new) Microwave beeps 3 times when something is done and KEEPS ON BEEPING UNTIL YOU TAKE IT OUT. And I mean KEEPS ON BEEPING An insane annoying ridiculously loud beeping. Who in the world CARES if my soup is hot and I have to instantly take it out! It can't burn! It stopped heating!!

I would more understand an oven baking but this is a microwave! I googled how to shut the thing up and it involves taking off the panel and fooling around with (to me) looks like something important so as of now, it will continue to drive me nuts.

Toshiba makes microwaves that you can disable the sound. I love mine.

Wish I knew that before I bought a new Frigidaire. Never dreamed Microwaves even DID that with the ridiculous never ending beeps. Believe me, the next microwave I buy, I will definitely research the alert.

We got a new microwave and it won't let you use the timer and the microwave at the same time. So annoying. The 30 year old one we had before did it just fine.

Maybe you know one, maybe you don't. Might be the guy is bored, lollygagging.
On the other hand, he could be a veteran with lingering injuries, or someone with neurologic disease. If couples like this you bother you, just ignore them.

The thread topic is small irritants. The reason why those guys are present doesn't matter to me; they're merely a minor inconvenience when encountered.

Autocorrect that doesn't. One of my posts earlier showed up with Mississippi in it. I think I had typed MVMCP

Is autocorrect the default setting on devices? I've never used it. Maybe I turned off the feature.

Yeah, some e-mails or texts I receive have a ridiculous word substitution. When I ask for clarification I get the "oops, sorry, autocorrect" excuse.

People who spell the name of the store JC Penney as "Penny's." Or the defunct northeastern US discount chain Bradlees as "Bradley's."

Husband leaving dishes on the fireplace mantel like it is a kitchen sink. Its about 12 steps from the mantel to the kitchen.
