We are planning on being at WDW 12/02/08 - 12/13/08. As it turns out, we may need to rent a scooter for some of the time we are at WDW.

Does WDW rent motorized scooters?

Where do you rent them?

If you change parks during the day, do you need to re-rent them?

Can you take them on Disney Transportation as you travel from one location to another?

What is the cost to rent them?

Where do you rent them?

Yes, they do.
You will find the rental places in the front of each park, at the same area as stroller rental.

If you change parks during the day, do you need to re-rent them?
Can you take them on Disney Transportation as you travel from one location to another?

Scooters rented in one park can't be removed from that park.
If you change parks, you can get another scooter without paying; just show your receipt. There is a possibility that the park you are going to will not have any scooters when you get there.

What is the cost to rent them?

The cost is posted in the disABILITIES FAQs.
You may also want to look at the disABILITIES FAQs thread for information about renting from one of the offsite companies (look in post #2 of that thread). That way, you would have the scooter all the time and would not have to worry about them running out.
