Slowest week of the year

I was told by a cast member that the slowest DAY of the year is Super Bowl Sunday. Makes sense to me.

But this year the days around it may be busy as the Superbowl is in Tampa!

Claire ;)

We were there for Labor Day week (1st week of Sept) and I would NOT say it's slow. It was at least as crowded or more than the week before Christmas.

It was Free Dining

Last two weeks in January, followed by the first two weeks in September.
You are correct the slowest days according to the CM that did our" Back stage Magic tour" said that the first two weeks in september because of schools are just re-starting.

That makes sense, as any other time of year I don't have a problem pulling the kids out of school. However, I don't see ever see them not starting school on time!!!

We have gone the first week of Sept the last three years. Last year we went the week after MLK as well. Sept is empty compared to that week.
Dh and I went alone this year in Sept. We walked onto Soarin three different times. Dh walked onto test track several times as well. We kept saying that it was too bad dd started school this year since we likely won't pull her out at the beginning of the year now. It is a great time to go. Free dining or not.

Yes, I also went the week after Labor Day last year and crowds were very low. The manager at Beaches and Cream was telling me what a difference he saw. He told me that the week after Labor Day, I could walk over to Beaches and Cream after Illuminations and probably have either a short or no wait. And I too went on Soarin with a 10 minute wait at 11:00 in the morning.

We went the 1st week in Dec this year and it was awful! We felt that the crowds were significantly higher than past trips during this time. We were able to see all or the attractions that we desired but told ourselves that we would have to find a new year to go when they wont be nearly as busy. It has been awhile since we have went in January so I might take the kids out of school in 01/10 and try it then (I can't believe that I will actually be able to wait that long to do again!).

We are going Jan 11th-16th for the first time in this time period. I'm looking forward to it and I'm hoping it will be slower and quieter than any other time we've visited. I don't mind that the parks close early, we'll use EMH on those nights, and dine late in the hotels on the other nights.

I just hope there's no 30 minute waits for rides:confused3
