Has USPS delayed any of your deliveries? I have two priority pkgs that are stuck -- according to tracking, neither one has moved in a week.

Their unofficial motto

"Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.”

Fortunately the pkgs aren't crucial -- I've heard horror stories of delayed medications for invalids who can't drive to go pick up their meds. Do you have a horror story?

I apologize for how this is going to come out but, do you know what's going on in the US right now?

We have had no issues.

Probably one of the few who still pay a bunch of bills by mail. My DH knows we get the discover bill about the 8th, the Visa bill about the 10 th, etc give or take a day.

Got meds within two days of ordering online. (this was about 2 weeks ago).

Just to add and not add another post..... reading some comments on page three of only getting mail a few days a week. It's a rare day, we don't get mail of some sort.

With so many people staying at home and ordering stuff online, I would assume you’d have delays. Is this a funding issue or because of the 20% increase yoy in online purchasing? I have no clue. But it’s definitely reasonable to assume delays.

Several late arrivals.
One coming UPS has been stuck about 1/2 hour from me since Aug. 7. Sender resend and it arrived a few days ago.

Wrote a series of letters to a friend training in the Air Force.

Two letters made the delivery. One letter returned months later. The others have vanished.

Do not know if the failure was with the postal service or the distribution on the base.

Ours has been coming late but we chalk it up to one of the postal workers who actually was sitting in box near my house, eating and texting. We just shrugged our shoulders when we saw it the first few times.

We noticed the last few weeks slow mail. Nothing seems to be missing it just takes longer to arrive.

Not sure if you've seen the news lately but I'd say its not exactly their fault when sorting machines have been taken away from them.

I have had one package come 2 weeks late and another that is completely lost. I got a refund for it and it would be cool if it just showed up anyways some day lol.

Yes, sorting machines have been removed, and overtime canceled. Something needs to be done.

I'm having issues with USPS. I mailed three envelopes of the same paperwork to an insurance agency on June 22, July 8, and August 10 because none of the paperwork made it to the insurance company; the tracking just stops. I filed an inquiry via email on USPS website and received a response that they will look into it. To date, no updates received. In addition, USPS has the audacity to send me a survey on how their service was. :sad2: I'm out $21!

People around me say their mail is slow, but so are FedEX and UPS. Like was mentioned above, volume is greater than the peak Christmas season, and none of the delivery services were prepared/

I mean they do get lunch breaks and a couple other breaks during their shifts. He very well could have been on one?

No, there were delays in April & May because of that. Delays now are not related to more people ordering online, especially because stores have reopened in many parts of the country. Delays now are related to cuts being made in USPS budgets & operations. As reported by postal employees all over the country.

I had a package back in July that had taken 5 times as long as usual. I went and looked at the tracking and my package had made several round trips from distribution center to distribution center with multiple stops at small town post offices on the way. It crossed the same state line 6 times. I put in an inquiry online and it was taken care of immediately. I had a very courteous message from the local postmaster saying it would be there the next day and it was!
