I spoke to a disc cove rep who said they do still have them, but has anyone on here ever seen them??

I cant find any mention of them anywhere on the disc cove website (probably not looking in the right place) or anywhere on here (although I havent done a proper search yet!):confused3

So, has anyone ever had an encounter with them??? I'd love to see pics if you have them

I'm going in June and i'm soooo looking forward to seeing one and hopefully have a pic (I remember seeing pics of celebrities holding them on a website years ago!)

We've been to DC twice. The first time we were there, there was an employee holding a baby sloth and walking around in the check-in area with it. I don't think others were allowed to hold it, but we could go over and look/take pictures. The second time we were there, I don't remember seeing any, but maybe we just missed it. I don't know where in the park they would be - everything is water-related except the bird aviary.

We saw the sloth when we did Trainer For A Day in 2005 but on the other two visits we didn't see a sloth anywhere.

Claire ;)

I scratched the sloth's lower back on April 13th.

aaahhhhhhhh blesssssss - that is soooo cute.:cutie:

Looks like i'm going to have to remember to ask at reception about where I can see the sloths. Even if i get a little stroke i'll be happy:)

We got to see both mom and baby when we did the camping out with dolphins program last October. I don't think they bring them out every day; they made it sound like it was a special treat as part of our program.

We were there today and they had 2 sloths out, we were there about 8:00 a.m. so one of the first groups in. We saw Dad and daugher sloths, my kids loved them. Maybe they only have them out for the early birds.

Here is Lucy.

She was out the first part of the day on May 5th.
They arent out everyday, and they arent out often. But they do have all kinds of other great animals out, and you never know what you're going to see.
For more info on DC, here's a great podcast...if I do say so myself:thumbsup2

And Lucy is just soooooooo cute - thank you so much for the picture:hug:

I think i'll just ask them on when I turn up whether the sloths are appearing that day - it will make my whole day if they are:yay:
