With fall here, alot of us are going to be picking up leaves. So, with this in mind, I will ask.........

How many trees do you have in your yard?

I have one tree in the backyard that doesn't loose it's leaves until spring - it's annoying - I'd much rather have it be now. We have some kind of oriental weeping willow tree that's messy all year round. I would get rid of it, but it helps keeps the girls play area dry by soaking up water. We also have a large forest that right next to us that blows it's leaves into our yard. So....the fall can be a busy time for us. But that's okay - I love the fall!!!!

Poll coming!!!

We live in a wooded neighborhood, so we have quite a few trees in our yard. Not sure of the exact number, however. :)

I rent, but am out in the suburbs and all of the apartments in my part of the complex overlook a kind of "park" area, so there are dozens of very tall trees, taller than the buildings themselves. In other words, I get to enjoy all of the trees and the beauty and don't have to deal with any of the leaf cleanup myself. :goodvibes

I think just 4 trees. We have quite a lot in our neighborhood in general, if there aren't a lot of trees in my yard, we have a lot of tall shrubbery as well. We just had to cut two due to "sickness" so we are down two in our front yard. We don't have big lots either, so the three do seem to take up most of our backyard as it is.

We have 6 pines in our front yard. One plam tree on the side and one on the back. Some other huge tree on the side of the house and another tree in the back yard.

Ugh, when we first moved in we had so many. We had to get rid of a few and now we are down to an annoying four.

I have a huge cottonwood, and then some smaller trees, plus bushes around the house. I also have a lawn service, so I don't have to rake!

1 big oak tree in the backyard that was here when the builder built the house. Shrubs in the front, flowers and a rose bush on the side round out my minimal yard. Of course, even though I have a big oak, no leaves fall off it here in Florida until Jan. - Feb. and then the few that do fall are already brown and dead. No need to rake.

I voted one, not sure if my small Queen Palm tree counts or not....

I used to have a huge Silver Maple in my backyard, but it had to come down due to a termite infestation. I have a tiny backyard, so it is not really feasible to plant another big tree (the old maple practically took up the entire yard!). I miss my old tree! :guilty:

I also have a huge oak tree in front of my house, but it is on city property, so it is technically not my tree.

we only have a couple of trees in the yard but we abut conservation land which is wooded and there are loads of trees.so we dont have lots of trees but we still get loads of leaves!

3 sable palms
2 Christmas palms
2 foxtail palm
1 mahogany, that almost didn't make it through hurricane wilma, it literally split down the middle, but we nursed it back to health.
prior to hurricane wilma we also had a live oak and a brazilian beauty
oops, i forgot one, i have a roebellini palm.
i  my landscape!

I love how pretty the trees look this time of year right up until they fall onto the ground a make a mess.Maybe I should invent a yard vacuum. :rotfl2:

We live on a 3 acre fully wooded lot so my guess is we have hundreds of trees. I love all the trees.

And we just ordered more trees from the Arbor Day foundation so we'll be adding 30 more. :)

We're on just under an acre and it is wooded (less heavily than it was before the hurricanes!). Our lot lines blend with those of our neighbors (no fences, just a creek behind the house as a natural barrier) and it's like living in the woods. I love it!

Here's the creek, mostly dry with just a few inches to a couple of feet of water most of the time, but a 6 to 8 foot deep raging river during storms! (Hard to tell without a person in the creek to give perspective, but the creekbed is about 6-8 feet high).

We have almost 3 acres with more trees than I dare to try to count! And now the leaves are starting to fall....

I have 1 in my back garden, however I live next to a woodland so the amount of leaves outside right now is unreal (and most of them haven't fallen off the trees yet!!)
