Broken rib when I was an infant. At one of my check-ups, the doctor told my mom, "She had a broken rib at one point that has already healed". (He could tell because it didn't heal exactly right.

My mom was stunned!! She figured it must have happened when I was 10 months old. My dad had been left to watch me for a few days while my mom was in the hospital having my sister. While in dad's care, I'd rolled off the changing table. After that, he took me to a friend's house & she took care of me til mom came home. (Back in the 60's, women stayed in the hospital for many days after having a baby).

ankle
ribs
nose....does that count? :confused3

Let's see...I broke my left collarbone at age 5. Was swinging upside down by my knees from a trapeeze on my swingset, and fell off.

I've broken my right wrist three times in the same place. First time, 4th grade, playing four squares, and fell. Second time, eighth grade, playing softball, and fell. Third time...third time, age 25, was playing an arcade game where you have to jump on spiders as their bodies light up, and fell off the platform. Yep, that one was embarrassing.

Also, in high school, I broke three of my toes on my right foot at the same time (fell down a flight of stairs).

Finally, age 28, I cracked two of my ribs on the right side. I had double lung pneumonia, and cracked them from coughing too violently.

That's it. I think.

Broke my big toe playing touch football on a wet lawn in the summer. So incredibly painful.

I wanted to add I was barefoot...majorily bad decision.

Three broken bones in left pelvis... car accident.

Me, too, along with three broken left ribs and a broken bone in my left hand (hit some trees with the left front of the car). No airbags at the time, but the seat belt saved my life. The breaks still bother me from time to time and the accident was in 1975!

:furious: I have broken several toes and my collarbone twice. My brother threw me down a hill and I broke it. Nice guy huh????

I have never broken anything; but I have dislocated my right kneecap about 4-5 times. I really need to look into surgery to tighted up some ligaments, but I'm procrastinating....

I always thought I was weird for never having broken a bone. My seventh graders tell me that's strange. So last year on the second last day of school I slammed my thumb in the van door. Swelled like a balloon and hurt like H-E-Double hockey sticks!!!BUT NOT BROKEN!!!!!! :thumbsup2

I broke my right arm when I was around 9 or 10 playing tackle football and a cousin threw me over his shoulder and when I hit the ground my arm landed on a rock. Both bones broke and bowed, I had to be nocked out for the doctor to set it.

I'm a victim of bad 80's fashion! Was changing out of my oh-so-cool ripped-knee jeans and got my leg caught. Lost my balance, and fell right on top of my wrist & snapped it.

To make matters worse, not only was I half naked, but in that easily embarrassed pre-teen stage, and my Dad had to break down my bedroom door to get me to the ER!

I made the ER dr's night.... I never lived it down, and I will never, ever fall for a possibly dangerous fashion trend again!

I broke my nose at swim practice when I was little (plowed face-first into the pool wall because I was swimming with my eyes closed because I'd forgotten my goggles  ), my left wrist in 1st grade when I attempted a front handspring because my friend could do one, so obviously I could, too, right? I mean, duh. Then nothing till I fell down my parents' basement steps and broke my left ankle (went dancing on it later that night because it was a date I really didn't want to miss). Broke my toe playing soccer in college a few years later, and 5 years ago, I was playing roller hockey, hit a rock with one skate (stopping it dead) and did one of those falls like you see in cartoons when someone steps on a banana peel, flying into the air, etc. I caught all of my weight on my left hand, breaking my left forearm in 3 places. Therefore, I got to spend all of a St. Louis summer--which is unpleasant enough even under the best of circumstances--in a full-arm cast from my armpit to my fingertips.

I've read that swimmers are notoriously clumsy on dry land; I think I've proven that theory pretty well. :lmao:

ankle on right leg, both bones in lower right leg, and several in the right foot,, all at once while falling 18 inches to the ground

after the w r eck, the drs refused to let me leave the hospital because i lied about my broken bone history and did not tell them i had broken my back, twice, on my x rays my back appears to have been broken and surgically repaired in two spots,,but i've never had my back worked on.

I think I may have broken a small bone in my foot before, but that's it.
