Oh yes, it definitely hurts...

If I knew then what I know now! I might be getting wiser in my old age Haven't had a new piercing done in 5 years.

I guess that depends on your pain tolerance....I didn't think mine was at all bad, my girlfriend got plugs 6 gauge and she turned white....I walked out with no problem....

And the whole drunk thing when getting it done, most places will not let you. I thought long and hard about all my ink and piercings before I got anything done.

I've played sports my whole life, had injury after injury, have 3 tattoos - 1 that hits the spine in the middle of my upper back. Never was in a serious car crash...but honestly, the nips hurt more than anything I've ever done. Didn't come out white...(hard to do when I'm pretty dark), but the next month wasn't all too fun.

Pain tolerance or not...getting your ****ies punctured hurts. A little or a lot, you decide.

Well I have been through a windshield....so the ink and the nips no big deal !
And another(apparently unmentionable) place....way less then the other two!

These days I've got one piercing in each ear. Int he past I had three in one ear and four in the other. I also had my nose pierced. Came very close to having my eyebrow done but then landed a job with a stuffy corporation and it didn't happen.

Ears twice each. I love piercings and I have no problems with getting more, but I wouldn't want to look like a pincussion.

I have 3 ear piercings on each ear and my belly button pierced. I wanted to get my tongue done before I got my belly button done but after I got my belly button done I was like "NEVER again will metal be shot through my body!" Getting it pierced was a 1,000 times more painful than getting a tattoo.

Single ear piercing. My friend did them 30 years ago with ice cubes and a needle and I have never had a problem with them.

That's how I had mine done also. ice cubes and a needle....

I have my ears pierced several times. I have two on the lobe and two in the cartilage. I did have two others in the lobe, but removed them.

I used to have my tongue pierced, but took it out a couple years ago.

I have double ear piercing and don't wear earrings--ever!! I did when I was younger (high school) and I got the second set done in college. After that, I was done and I'm sure the second one has closed up on both ears. Oh well, so goes life . . .
