Sweet relish only. I accidentally bought dill not that long ago. It wasn’t horrible but not what I’m used to.

I use either one, whichever is available. At home, it's usually sweet because that is what I buy for potatoe salad and deviled eggs. I don't always use it, sometimes it's just mustard. Sometimes it's relish and mustard. Sometimes its relish, mustard and cheese. Sometimes it's cheese and mustard. Sometimes, if I have them, I add onions to any of the above mixes and sometimes, if it's there, I will add chili. The one constant is mustard and no ketchup.

Hot dogs must have ketchup and my favorite is ketchup, mustard and relish (either dill or sweet is fine). I will eat them with just ketchup or with ketchup and mustard or relish though. Depends on what we have.

I chose Other because I pretty much just put ketchup on hot dogs. I do use dill relish in tuna salad.

I prefer my homemade chili sauce and cheese on a hot dog, but dill relish with finely chopped onion is my second choice. I hate sweet pickles in any form, and no mustard or ketchup either.

These ketchup on hot dog posts are making me want to barf. :crazy2:

I'm not sure what kind of relish we have. India?

We've also been buying some kind with larger diced pickles. It might be Mt. Olive brand.

I like either, but it does depend on the application. I will put dill on a burger, but may use either on a hot dog. Sweet might be used when mising up some tuna salad.

I like relish. Not a must have on hot dogs as I have had them plain, with sauerkraut, onions, “Texas” wiener/chili sauce, mustard and any combination of the above. I just looked and the jar of relish in the refrigerator is India relish. I think it is considered sweet but didn’t see that on the label.

I don’t like it. Only one in the house that eats it is my husband.

Didn't even know there was such a thing as non-sweet or dill relish, I've only ever seen sweet and that's including hotdog bar offerings.

The only time I ever touch the stuff is for the holiday required deviled eggs that go in my special deviled egg tray, both a tribute to my grandma's definition of fancy American food, cheesy though it may be the tradition stays:)

Only 2 ways I eat a hot dog. Both are NO RELISH!

Cincinnati coney, of course...

And New York style with sauerkraut and spicy mustard.

I don't eat hotdogs, but I kind of like dill relish. On the rare occasion I make tuna salad I will put dill relish in it.

This is so weird. I’ve never had dill relish and never seen it in a store. I do like both dill and sweet pickles. I use sweet relish on hamburgers. Rarely eat hot dogs, but if I do it’s with mustard only, no relish.
