Ate them all the time growing up, though rarely now. I do like some frozen veggie combos, but not that one so much. For example, I like carrots with broccoli and cauliflower, or with asparagus and corn (Birds Eye makes this and it’s good). I like peas alone, or sometimes make them with onions and mushrooms. And carrots I mostly buy fresh and slice, then steam, sauté, or roast them. I eat mostly fresh or frozen vegetables, never canned, with a few exceptions.
I don’t think so. Maybe you’re thinking of succotash? Which is typically corn and lima beans with other vegetables, sometimes tomatoes and okra. I’m in NY and peas and carrots have always been a staple.
