Voted other. Not really a Doritos fan. But spicier the better. My kids always loved Doritos so I'd buy them a lot so I wouldn't be tempted to snack on them (same with Oreos).

Too salty for us. We buy unsalted tortilla chips instead. They are amazingly flavorful without all that salt.

I prefer the spicy sweet chili and salsa verde, but I don’t buy them often. Those flavors aren’t carried in my local grocery store, so I have to make a special trip to get them. They are more of a vacation treat for me.

I eat them occasionally, mostly nacho cheese. The only other kind I’ve tried is cool ranch, which is okay too, but I prefer the cheese. BTW, the original Doritos I remember as a kid (back in the 1960’s) were taco flavor, which came before nacho cheese.

@slo, I’ve never had taco pie, but it sounds good, would you like to share the recipe?
I’ll be happy to 🙂
Send me a PM to remind me, because I know I’ll forget

For those who don't know, the original Doritos chips were invented at Disneyland, made in the Casa de Fritos (now Rancho del Zocalo), which was run by Frito Lay. They were so popular that they were shifted into mass production and packaged for nationwide sale.

Nacho Cheese or Salsa Verde
But as another poster stated, I'm buying the off brands that I like or anything that is on sale ( like $2.99 on sale).
Doritos could be in the house for Super Bowl!

Cool Ranch is my favorite, followed by Taco and then Nacho Cheese. Taco flavor isn't always available in every store. I have a Doritos taco salad recipe that calls for nacho cheese (easier to find), but I think the taco flavor works better with it, for obvious reasons.

I just wish they offered more flavors that weren't all so spicy. Why does it seem like whenever there's a new flavor of chip (any brand) it always involves some kind of spiciness?? I do not like spicy food.

I think Marie gets chips with a T in the name. Tostitos? Tostadas? Something like that I think. I don't recall Doritos here.
