I sorta like it. I can't remember the last time I bowled, though. More than five years. I do know I'm not very good at it.

I love bowling but can’t physically do it anymore.
All our three sons were bowling coaches and kids birthday party hosts.
They got to meet Norm Duke during a tournament.

Nothing better than bowling alley grilled cheese. I myself was never a bowler, but my father was. He bowled on Friday nights near my college. When I wanted to come home for the weekend, I first had to go sit in the bowling alley. Some of my greatest memories. He even bowled a 300 game once. My parents also belonged to a mixed league. The smell of a bowling alley takes me way back.

For me, it was bowling alley french fries. They were the best. My aunt bowled in a league. Sometimes she would babysit us if my parents had something to do. We (my sister and I and my cousins) all went with her to the alley if it was her bowling night. She would give each of us $1 to spend in the arcade while she played. I would play one game of Frogger and buy french fries with the rest of my money. You could get a lot for a dollar in the early 80s, I guess.

Bowling alley pizza was my favorite. I used to go to a summer day camp every year, and they walked us all down to the corner bowling alley twice a week. Pizza was super greasy and incredibly delicious! Now the fries by the pool at the rec center where the day camp was....those were the best fries ever.

The last time I bowled was June 25th, 2009. (I had to look it up. It was the evening of the day that Michael Jackson died which was sad and weird). We were at an extended family reunion. It was a lot of fun. I always really enjoyed bowling and the camaraderie of it, even though I only did it once a year or so. I was bad at it but I always had fun.

Now, 13.5 years later, I have two bad knees and not the best balance--I really wouldn't dare to try it again. I think there would be a good chance I would wipe out and get hurt. Bummer because it always made me laugh.

I love bowling, but unfortunately I have an injury
that stopped my joy back in the late 90's.
I miss it.

I used to like to bowl. I was in a league from 3-5 grade. Then we moved and never got back into. Just occasionally with friends.
My father was on a bowling League for many years. Traveled all over the state..
Both my kids were in leagues for a few years.

I haven't been in many years

Bowling is more about the socializing than the actual bowling in my family. My parents have requested we go bowling before we go out for dinner next weekend to celebrate their 50th anniversary.
