Holy Moly….it’s the last day of the month
Where in the heck did August go???

There was a Blue Moon last night, which leads me to ask…..

Did you look at the moon last night?
Were you able to get a good view of it?
Could you see the blue moon or did it look like a normal every day moon?

For Me…..Yes, we looked at the Blue Moon. I set an alarm to remind me, and around 8:45pm we went outside to look at it. We didn’t look at it for to long because it was so bright and it hurt our eyes when we stared it. The moon definitely had a blue halo around it - it was very cool. I’m glad we took time to look at it, and that we had a clear night for it.

I look at the moon every night when I take my dog out for a go to bed so I had a pretty decent view it looked a little weird the last few days wasn’t cloudy here so I had a very good view of the moon last night
I agree where did August go?? We’re about to jump in to the holiday season can’t believe it’s already here so depressing that it’s starting to be dark when I get up in the morning I feel like Game of Thrones winter is coming in for the farmers almanac we’re supposed to get a lot of snow we shall see

we were a little late viewing, so missed the prime time, but we noticed how bright it was out, and just went out around 9:30 to look. Wow, it was bright and beautiful.

I was swimming last night and looked up at the moon several times.
It was a nice moon, but it looked like a regular moo to me.

We live in South Florida and I caught the moon's reflection shining in our pool! I then looked at the moon from the kitchen window but I did not go outside.

My husband and I went outside to look at the blue moon. It looked more green than blue, though. Then I saw the blue moon from my kitchen window this morning.

Yes. I went out about 9:30. Marie told me to take a picture for her viewing. Very bright. Took a few pictures. No blue, yellow, orange or any other color as it was crystal clear here, no haze to alter the color. It was too cold to stand out there very long in my t-shirt. Upper 40's here this morning, And now going back into the 90's again. Crazy weather.

If anybody missed the blue super moon last night, next one is 2037. I'll be in my mid 90's, if....

We saw it! It was huge! Didn't seem much blue but it was still gorgeous.

I actually forgot to look, but it was a little overcast so not noticeable ...and we were outside so had it been clear we would have seen it.

I was extremely disappointed not to have seen it, due to it being socked in and drizzly last night. I looked several times between 9:30 and midnight but couldn’t even tell where the moon was in the sky.

{{sigh}} Yes, the shorter daylight hours are starting to get noticeable. I love the fall season; it’s generally my favourite time of year and here in the far’ish north it’s still currently light from about 6:00 am to 9:00 pm, but we are undeniably moving towards what seems each year to be perpetual darkness. In the deep of winter it’s not full light until after 9:00 am and then pitch black again before 5:00 pm.
