For all our American friends…..Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸
I hope you all have a fun and safe holiday!

Fireworks go with the 4th of July, along with other holidays around the world.
What I’m wondering today……

Have you been to a professional fireworks show this year?
If yes…..how many?
Have you bought fireworks this year?
(multiple choice)

For Me…..I’ve been to 3 fireworks shows this year. One at WDW (MK - viewed on the beach at The Poly), one my town had (a few weeks ago) and one last night at my neighboring town. I love looking at fireworks. Tonight I plan on sitting on my pool deck and watching all the fireworks in my neighborhood. We used to buy some, but now I let everyone else buy them and watch theirs - LOL!

I've been to many fireworks in my lifetime. Chicago, Disney, Battle Creek's Airshow ones, on the beaches of the Great Lakes, our family ones and many other places. I love fireworks but now this Grandma goes to bed by 9ish but I listen to them as I fall asleep.

Happy Birthday United States! party:

I saw two shows this year at WDW in March.

Not sure whether I will go tonight. Depends on weather, my mood, and others in my house.

I love fireworks. But we mostly only see them at Disney. Our township has one display per year, but missed it this year in the spring. From our bedroom windows we can see displays that are a few miles away, but they are not amazing at that distance.

I have not been to any shows this year and probably won't. It's too hot here to go watch them......but we do have a couple Disney trips coming.
I have not bought any this year......that is up to the kids. And they have.

When we lived in WA, we had our party every year 75-100 people, pot luck. Fireworks for hours.

My dog doesn’t like them, our town’s fireworks are tonight, I’ll be home with her. Towns here are really close together so every night this week will be noisy. The NYC fireworks have come back to the west side so I might be able to see some here.

We aren't huge fireworks fans, even at WDW we usually just catch a glimpse from our room. We did splurge on fireworks for the grandkids. The pyro is legal in our suburb, they'll shoot them off in the street in their cul-de-sac, other neighbors will do the same.

We can see fireworks by standing a few feet from our yard, in front of our neighbor's mailbox. The country club nearby has a good show that lasts 18 minutes.

We have been to WDW in February and April and have seen the MK and Epcot fireworks, too. The WDW fireworks are so much better than the local fireworks, though.

We were at WDW last month and watched the MK and Epcot fireworks. Always fun for my family.
Tonight we will watch local fireworks from our deck.
Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸

I enjoy a professional fireworks show but not a fan of the random neighborhood ones. I always feel bad for the dogs in the neighborhood and my dad made artificial arms and legs for a living and lots of people get hurt with the backyard ones or they can cause fires. Not to mention they aren’t legal in my state so all you get are the whistler ones that barely do anything.

I did read we should start getting more drone shows soon and I’m excited to see those.

Wife and I are part of the committee that puts on a fireworks show in our town. We had ours this past Saturday night along with food trucks, face painters and a couple of other activities. We'll also be in Disney in December and plan on seeing at least one show.

Many of our local Fireworks shows have been cancelled due to the current heatwave and associated high fire danger.

Haven’t been to an Independence Day fireworks show in many years. Saw fireworks on my Disneyland trip but didn’t wait for them. Planned on walking up for a spot but misjudged the wait for Rise and they started going as I was walking back to Main Street.

I’ve seen plenty of fireworks in my life.

As a grumpy old man, the whole process of attending is a hassle that I now avoid. Parking, traffic, waiting around, etc.

We haven’t seen any pro shows this year. For tonight, I might just see what I can see from our hotel window. I’m not big into buying either. I grew up in a state/area where only professional shows were legal and law enforcement was really aggressive about people setting off their own. They’re technically illegal where I live now but we live so close to a legal spot that the police don’t bother.

We've seen 2 so far this year... (our town does theirs as part of the town festival in june. Then a local country club did a pretty impressive display last week that we could see even though we're not members.) My daughter works tonight, but is supposed to get off at 8. If she gets off on time, we might go to a neighboring town to watch theirs, but it'll depend on when she gets off and whether she feels like going. I won't be disappointed if we don't go. I like fireworks but I've seen some this year.

Have not been to professional show since 2022 - unless you count my neighbors who put on a very good display - they are legal by me so I’ve been listening to them for weeks and last night was a big night for them as they are calling for storms tonight so I expect Friday night to be huge with all the neighbors shooting them off
I have never purchased them as I’ve never needed to - too many neighbors doing it no need for me to add to it
My current dog can’t stand them so I’ll be with him trying to drown out the noise so he doesn’t hear them - we will be jammin in my house !! Music 🆙 he likes rap 🤣🤣

We lived behind the Magic Kingdom for several years. It’s probably accurate to say I have seen all the fireworks I ever need to see!

I do like the fireworks on the Disney cruise line. It’s fun to see them at sea. I think it’s funny to look at all of the other cruise ships that are close to where DCL is, because they get to enjoy the fireworks too. I’ve always wondered if some of the other cruise ships say if you’ll look off to the port side, Disney has fireworks.

My family and my good friend went to one of the small community fireworks last night! It was such a nice event at a small lake park, the sunset was breath taking and the fireworks were great!!

July 4th holiday is my favorite!!
