Just digital for me, through an app on our main/nearby grocery store. They have a Friday freebie where you spend $25 you can snag the free item. The other coupons are usually for stuff we don't buy.

I'm a 5. I shop two groceries stores and use their digital coupons. I do use paper coupons when I can find them. I especially like when I can use a digital coupon and a paper coupon combined.

I’m really good about my preferred store’s app based coupons, but it’s hit or miss with the ones they snail mail or print during checkout. We have another really good grocery chain that’s preferred by most Texans, but I always spend significantly more when shopping at that store.

I use all types of coupons-paper, digital. I generally only use them for name brand products that are on sale. I combine the sale price with the coupon for a bargain. Otherwise, I buy lots of store brands.

Paper coupons are few and far between for me. Some stores I frequent give any weekly discounts automatically through their loyalty card. Some have digital coupons that you have to manually add to the card or account.

If a store does have digital coupons, I tend to just select them all, and then anyone using the card/account will have any applicable ones automatically come off the price.

I check the apps for the store I go to and "clip" and discounts they offer every week. I am horrible at remembering to using paper coupons.

I'd say #5 for digital and maybe 1.5 for paper coupons.

We get a weekly flyer in the mail still, but all the coupons are digital and you have to load them into your account linked to your rewards card. The big issue with that is, as with too many apps, the app doesn't work properly. Good news is, if you have the app on your cell phone you can add an item while in the store. The bad news is, the app doesn't work properly often. And all too often, the offers are on more expensive household items like laundry soap, where the price is still higher than at Walmart. The real bargains tend to be the "Manager's Specials" that vary from store to store. Usually on items that are out of season, or near their expiration date or are slow sellers. No coupon needed.

I do much of my grocery shopping at Aldi, so no coupons used there. I do look at sales at other stores for certain items, and occasionally get a digital coupon from them. Like someone else mentioned, I look at the Costco sale flyer for items I regularly buy there. Total Wine sent me a digital coupon for $2 off up to 4 - 6 packs of beer so I used that. They send me wine coupons too but I buy my wine at Costco also. I have given up on paper coupons mostly, Dh sometimes has one for Listerine that he uses at Target, but I get a lot of digital coupons from Target also.

I use digital coupons religiously at several supermarkets. As for paper coupons, maybe 3 or 4 a year. I rarely find a paper coupon for items I usually purchase.

30 years ago I brought a shoebox full of organized coupons with me to the market.

I use digital coupons from the app. We get very few paper coupons anymore.

I use digital coupons mostly now.

We do not get paper coupons here like we did years ago. I would clip a bunch every week and the expiration date was goodfor months down the road.

Now, I barely have one or two (that I can use). Sometimes we get one or two from the "catalina" machine at Shoprite. Many expire right away or you need to buy three or four of the item. It's almost not worth the time anymore. If you have a paper coupon or a catalina coupon, you cannot use it with a "digital coupon".

I shop at Aldi and Shoprite primarily. Aldi doesn't have coupons, but at their price point it's still well worth it to hit them up first. For Shoprite I use the app and match up the coupons for things I buy to what's on sale in the circular. So I get the regular loyalty card deals with zero effort and try to combine with the digital coupons I load to my card in the app. They are actually pretty good about noting what items have a digital coupon available in addition to the loyalty card sale price which helps simplify things. I try to do it all ahead of time, but always take my phone in case I need to add a coupon in the app at the store.

I very rarely shop at Acme since it's by far the most expensive. But, they do offer a free item once a week which I will pick up if it's something we can use (often an energy drink for DH), occasionally offer a $5 off $5 purchase, or a screaming deal on frozen pizza which I like to keep in the freezer for DH. So it's very limited what I get there but I keep an eye on it each week to see if there is something worth our while (we pass it on the way home from work so easy enough to pop in real quick).

ETA: I don't really have access to any paper coupons but would use any I ran across that were for items I generally buy.

Digital coupons are my favorite just because they're so easy, especially if I'm doing a grocery pick-up. I also generally use the coupons my grocery store sends to our house. Every little bit helps toward our next Disney trip ;)
