How do you like your orange juice - with or without pulp?

For Me…….No pulp
Sorry to all the pulp people - I can’t do it :crazy2:
I actually rarely buy any juice due to the calories in it, but I will buy it once in awhile. I just bought some OJ for my sweet potatoes on Thanksgiving. The recipe I use requires it - I don’t know why, but the potatoes are always great, so I just continue with it.

I don’t really drink juice, but if I did, it wouldn’t be orange juice. I don’t hate it, but would definitely prefer grapefruit or a cranberry blend of some sort.

I like orange juice with and without pulp, but I don’t buy it because nobody drinks it.

Not a big OJ drinker but, if in the mood, I'll drink either. For some reason, the pulped OJ always strikes me as being fresher.

I have not drank OJ in over 20 years. Gerd/blood sugar swings/don’t drink my calories. Can’t do any kind of raw citrus. Back when I did occasionally have some I liked light pulp.

Only buy it when on sale and it would be no pulp. We really don’t drink it often. I do order it when out for breakfast because I don’t drink coffee there I don’t get a choice…lol

I don't really drink OJ. It tastes good, but not good enough to spend that many calories on. If/when I drink it though, I want it without pulp.

I'm the OJ drinker here, Marie once in awhile. I prefer with pulp but so often it is not in stock, so then no pulp it will be.

As an aside, I recall when growing up, many years ago, my dad used to squeeze about a half bag of oranges every morning for the family.. Then, when frozen concentrate became popular, late 50's on into the 60's, we had that. Early years of me being married, we used frozen concentrate, as many choices as there is now of the bottled OJ. Now, almost no frozen concentrate in the stores, almost all the bottles. Just an observation.

Everyone in our house likes OJ with no pulp, although I can drink either one. This post made me think about a scene in The Sopranos TV series where Carmela is out in the driveway talking on the phone, and Tony comes out in his bathrobe with the orange juice container and says "Ohhh, this says with pulp, I like it when it says with some pulp!" Carmela then throws the phone at him. 🤣

I like some pulp but it is really hard to find without added calcium, which my vegan daughter won’t drink. So I buy no pulp.

We rarely buy it anymore, but when we did, it was no pulp. (I don't even remember if it was DS or DH that really hated pulp.) If I have it in a restaurant, though, I don't really care either way.

Sorry to all the pulp people - I can’t do it :crazy2:
Never have to apologize for liking something different from other people, because the response to that is always gonna be "That's okay, more [FOOD/DRINK X] for us!"

I voted one of the "I do both" options because it makes absolutely no difference to me.

I use fresh OJ in recipes. Love the smell of freshly squeezed Orange juice. I don’t drink it, as it has too much sugar for me. But, will eat an Orange every once in a while.

We love to juice our own for the most pulp, when we buy Valencia oranges from FL. We do buy the one with most pulp when we do buy from grocery store.

I don’t drink orange juice anymore. The citric acid bothers me. It’s fine as an ingredient in baked goods or a hot meal.

My mother used to buy OJ with pulp. She had to strain it for me because I refused to drink it when it had “bugs” in it. She mostly bought the frozen concentrate in cans.

As Dan mentioned above, supermarkets used to have a whole freezer door or large bit of a frozen coffin case for those cans. Now most places might have 4 or 5 varieties on one shelf of a freezer door.

And conversely, in ancient times there was maybe one shelf in the refrigerated section with OJ, not three doors worth like today.

I haven’t seen it in years, but there used to be warm OJ in cans. Donald Duck brand. That stuff was terrible.

I did like orange Hi-C in cans, even with the metallic taste.
