When I drink OJ (not often) I prefer pulp.

I only drink water. Well, coffee in the morning, but water all day. When I go out to eat I usually get an unsweetened iced tea.

I prefer no pulp (or no OJ at all). There's a kind with "low pulp" that I can drink if necessary, but my parents like "lots of pulp" and I can't stand that.

When I was a kid, we went to the orange groves and bought our juice directly from the growers. I prefer juice with pulp, and only juice from oranges grown in Florida, not some foreign country.

Fresh squeezed with pulp when drinking plain juice. Fresh squeezed with no pulp when making mimosas or mixed drinks.

I don’t like pulp. Although I like the taste of orange juice I seldom drink it cause it just tears my stomach up. I tried the low acid kind but it didn’t taste the same.

I’ll drink it either way. I don’t mind pulp, but lately I prefer the low acid variety, which is usually also no pulp. Fresh squeezed is delicious, and I also like fresh lemonade with pulp.

Early years of me being married, we used frozen concentrate, as many choices as there is now of the bottled OJ. Now, almost no frozen concentrate in the stores, almost all the bottles. Just an observation.
My family used the canned concentrate when I was a kid. No comparison to what you get now, but for us, it was actually a special treat, because what we mostly drank with breakfast was powdered Tang. Which was very popular because “the astronauts drink it”. LOL, don’t know if Tang still exists but I haven’t seen it in many years.

I prefer a medium amount of pulp, so I buy pulp when I will be the only one drinking it. When my sister visits, she hates pulp, so I buy the no pulp.

...As Dan mentioned above, supermarkets used to have a whole freezer door or large bit of a frozen coffin case for those cans. Now most places might have 4 or 5 varieties on one shelf of a freezer door.

...I haven’t seen it in years, but there used to be warm OJ in cans. Donald Duck brand. That stuff was terrible.
What I really, really miss is frozen apple juice concentrate (and orange too) because I used to cook a lot with it. Now I have to spend time boiling down juice to get it to the flavour intensity I want it at and it changes the taste some, I think.

:confused:What do you mean by "warm" orange juice? Just that it was sold off the shelf instead of refrigerated? There's every variety of juice under the son sold here that way, although not canned anymore. It's all in cartons now.

Yes, “warm” OJ was sold in the non-refrigerated juice aisle. In a round metal can, maybe 1/2 gallon. I still see warm canned pineapple and tomato juices the same size.

I haven’t seen that size can of warm Donald Duck OD has smaller bottles of juices and lemonade at
Dollar Tree stores. I’ve seen them both warm and chilled.

I don't drink it often because it gives me reflux, but I would only buy no pulp.

I can’t drink orange juice any more because I suffer from IC - but back in the day I liked it with pulp - prefer fresh Florida right off the tree!! Oh wish I could have some !!

Hardly drink it ( unless it’s in a cocktail … no pulp)
Straight Oj, preferred pulp but family… no pulp.
