Do you buy chocolate milk for anyone in your home?


For Me.....I never do
My girls would have always liked me to, but I didn’t want them to have all the sugar thats in it.

I like chocolate, I like milk, but I hate chocolate milk. It’s the thickness of it that I don’t like.

I buy dark chocolate almond milk for use in smoothies. About once a month. We do not just drink it

Bought it once in awhile when the kids were little and then when the grandkids were here most days. But with the past months and the pandemic, never really. I do like a glass of it now and then, maybe a single serve at a 7-11 or similar, makes me feel like a kid again.

I dislike chocolate and I never drink milk so for me it's a double-NO but both DH and DS like it so I do buy it occasionally, especially if I happen to be doing groceries at WalMart. They often have 1litre cartons for $1.00. My regular store doesn't carry that size and it's $6.00 for a 2litre jug. I also almost always have a bottle of Nesquik in the fridge just in case DS wants a little treat.

I’m a milk drinker and don’t drink coffee one tea so it’s a yes but only when on sale. Surprise for the kids.

That’s the only drink the kids got at Disney with their meals. So special for them....lol

I don't like milk so not for me. My husband loves milk but drinks the Whole White (Red Top) with Breakfast (Honey Buns and Doughnuts, etc) On the other hand, my stepfather likes Chocolate Milk. So we buy it every week, but the part I don't like is that he will drink it with the supper meal. So when he pours a glass of chocolate milk to go with Hamburger Helper, for some reason my stomach turns over.

I have bought it but it was never a regular thing. I was more likely to buy the Nesquick powder. It has been a long time since I’ve bought either. It is not something I see myself buying in the future.

No, nobody here drinks it. I don’t have anything against chocolate milk, I just don’t like milk in general.

Yes, we buy 1/2 gallon of whole milk, and 1/2 gallon of chocolate milk every week at Aldi's. I love the taste of theirs, and for some reason the chocolate milk is prices less than the whole milk!

Brings back memories of Rosa. She was youngest son’s babysitter for a time but loved to serve him chocolate milk. Eventually, she had to go.

I make hot cocoa with milk, does that count? Otherwise, I only use milk in coffee so no chocolate. DH will drink it once in a while.

I used to buy it for dd when she was younger. I maybe would have 1 glass a year, I am not a milk drinker unless I am dipping double stuf Oreos.

When I was a kid, we would MAKE chocolate milk with white milk and Hershey's syrup. My kids make it sometimes with white milk and chocolate-malt flavored ovaltine powder. But my mother NEVER bought premade and I rarely do.

However, I do like Kroger's pre-made chocolate milk. (and otherwise, I'm not a milk drinker). When I was a kid, we used to go to my great-aunt/great-uncle's house for Thanksgiving and they always had Kroger chocolate milk for the kids. It was a Thanksgiving treat. I often buy it for Thanksgiving (but we normally drink it with breakfast, because we have thanksgiving dinner at my in-law's and it's not one of their traditions there.)

Kroger will occasionally run it for $1 for 1/2 gallon and if I see that, I will pick it up "just because," but I haven't seen that sale in a long time (but Kroger is not the store I normally do my weekly shopping at, so I might have missed it.)

I have, but rarely. I do buy Hershey's special dark syrup and make chocolate milk with that.

Yes. We buy the syrup. Dh has choc milk a few times a week. The rest of us never drink it.

I chose Other, because I only use Chocolate Malt Ovaltine. Occasionally for a treat I mix chocolate syrup with plain seltzer. That's yummy.
