slo’s MONDAY poll - Lemon Oreos

After chemo, a lot of Dh's favorite foods didn't taste as good as they used to. Even his favorite, chocolate, paled in comparison to before chemo.
He found out that lemon still tasted good, so lemon bars and lemon meringue pie became his favorite desserts. I'm not a big lemon fan, so making lemon desserts was never on my radar before. But since I need to keep his weight up, I started trying my hand at it.
Then we discovered the Lemon Oreos! He LOVES them!
He even got me hooked on them, and we've bought sooo many packages since then.
The lemon works well with the golden cookie and has a bright crisp summery flavor.

I don't like Oreos. I find them overly sweet, but I guess I'd try them if they were in the house. Since I'm the one who does the food shopping, I'd be unlikely to buy them, though. My family prefers plain vanilla sandwich cookies and I like Chips Ahoy original so that's what I buy for the cookie jar.

I love them, but only buy them as an occasional treat. Those, and the regular Mega Stuff, are the only ones I buy.

I like them. The only other Oreo I really like is the dark chocolate ones.

I love all lemon flavored treats/desserts and really enjoy the lemon Oreos.

No interest. I will eat double stuff and vanilla oreos. At Christmas the grocery store will have chocolate-covered oreos which I love. I don't want any odd flavors and I really don't even like when they make the regular ones colors to match holidays.

I love all things lemon so I do like these. However I do wish they were a bit more lemony.

Never tried them, no desire to try them. For me, Oreos need to be the original, no variation. While I might like the lemon Oreo, it wouldn’t be an “oreo” to me, just a lemon cookie. Lemon cookies can be good, it’s something I wouldn’t ordinarily choose.

Never tried them. I might try one at some point, but it's really hard to get the lemon flavor right so it doesn't taste like you're eating Lemon Pledge.

Bought them as a rare treat for my older son and I probably ate more than he did. But I resist buying more because I have no will power.
