Despite not being a fan of them, I own two of the basic ones. One is in our RV, we have laminate floors and not a lot of storage space so it gets the job done. I've yet to figure out how to keep the darn wet pad on the thing so I use rubber bands around the top and bottom. Doesn't get the floor as clean as a good old fashioned mop, bucket and Mr. Clean but if I go over it twice with new pads, it gets it clean enough.

I have one at home for when I'm just not in the mood to pull out the mop, bucket and Mr. Clean and just want to get the kitchen floor cleanish. We have a tile floor with little dents in the tile so unless I get the rag mop out those dents don't get clean. I call it "half as*&&* mopping". I also use it on the hard woods in the dining room where we have the pads for our dog. She has a habit of not quite getting her entire bottom half into the middle of the pad and pees kind of on the pad and kind of off it sometimes. I clean it up first with a paper towel, then I squirt some water on it and use another paper towel and then I use the swiffer.

Use a Swiffer on the Luxury Vinyl Planking and vinyl flooring in our Bathrooms.

Use a Bona "mop" on the 1,500 feet of laminate we have in the house. Switched from wall to wall carpet to laminate 10 years ago. While will mostly love the laminate, you learn really quickly how much dirt, fuzz, hair etc that carpet hides that stands out on laminate despite being swept, then vacuumed then Bonaed. Of course, that explains the beach of fine sand we found under the carpet pad when we pulled the carpet out.

I also have a 'duster' made from some sort of soft/synthetic material that works just as well as those disposable ones. I usually spray it with a bit of Endust before using. You also wash it once it gets dirty, great for dusting surfaces around the house.

I just can't use the disposable stuff. I have removable/washable microfiber cloth pads to use on a swiffer-like handle, and then I have a wet spray/mist mop that has removable/washable microfiber pads and a refillable water, or liquid of choice, reservoir. We have hardwood and tile.

Not sure which Swiffer we have, but I see boxes of refills out in the garage all the time. It would only be used on the vinyl in the kitchen and bathrooms.

Bona home, we have hardwood and that is the best mop I have found for it. Easy to clean microfiber pads, money saver! :thumbsup2
Mine is the motion mop, not sure that really makes a difference though.

Basic one and power mop.
Use them regularly on tile floors.
Reusable/washable pads

With painful arthritis I can't scrub anymore so a Swiffer on each floor makes frequency easy, I don't need to scrub if things never get dirty. The strong fragrance are a lot but I tolerate the Clorox ones that kill germs for 24 hours. Wish they had unscented but I don't see any.

I've been transitioning over to the Bona spray mops with unscented cleaner.

I'll also sometimes use soapy washcloths I dip in unscented dish soap tucked into the Swiffer.

We have a Roomba mop too that helps me keep up with things, and the vacuum but they are expensive.

Frequency is everything if scrubbing is not possible, I could never manage a regular mop but I can manage this with minimal effort. When I am done mopping I generally turn the pad inside out for the clean side and and wipe down kitchen handles, light switches, doorknobs and the bathroom. The house is kept very clean this way in spite of my limitations.
