LOL. I was an adult when they came out. Never actually seen them. If they are jawbreakers, then no, I would not even try them.

I just used to get the big ones, jawbreakers. There was one variety that was white and you sucked on it for a while and the white would disappear and turn a different color and flavor. This would repeat until you finished it, although I never as a kid or knew a kid who didn't bit it as soon as they were able.

I didn't much like them and haven't had one for nearly fifty years.

Occasionally I had jawbreakers when I was young. But overall I tended to prefer chocolate based candy.

Yes. Gobstopper is a brand name I believe.

Jawbreakers come in a wide variety of sizes - from HUGE to tiny ones (the tiny ones are pretty easy to chew as they're only maybe 1/4" diameter.
