Hmmm ...never really thought to check flights out of Hartford. I could make that work!

I think they have one flight out of Hartford a day at 6pm to Dublin, then you can connect to places all over Europe. It's a lot easier for us to get to and the parking at BDL is so much cheaper than BOS.

Mostly Ocean... Live on Long Island and Hilton Head Island and both have Ocean front beaches.

I voted 75% lake and large lakes. Spent part of my childhood a 5 minute walk from Lake Erie. Currently vacationing at a house on Green Bay. I find the Great Lakes a peaceful relaxing retreat. Less so the ocean, especially with high waves.

Between Lake Huron, the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico, the 3 main places I go I much prefer the Gulf of Mexico.

I’ve definitely spent more time at the ocean so I’ll say 75% ocean. I’ve been in lakes though and enjoy those too as long as they are clean.

I would always choose ocean first. But we've had wonderful times camping and waterskiing on bigger lakes -- Lake Mead, Lake Powell.

Ocean over lake, but oceanfront swimming pool beats all.
