Around here local schools start in September, and anyone in my immediate family going back is doing so as a teacher or other school related employee. No one is heading back to college this year.

School here starts after Labour Day. My daughters will be going back then. One to her second year of University and the other to grade 11.

Mine go back at the end of this month, but it varies widely around here, with some back as early as July 11th, some started last week, some will start next week. Personally I would love to start a week and a half earlier and gain a fall break week and a full week off at Thanksgiving.

Yep......Auntie took the 2 of them to Amazing Jakes. Arrived at 11. Auntie left at 7, Daddy came at 6 and he took them home at 9!!

Meet the teacher day is tomorrow

No one in my immediate family goes to school anymore, but I have several teachers in the family (siblings and niece). School here starts September 1st this year, which is early. It usually starts after Labor Day.

Daughter junior in college starts August 22.

She's been gone all summer on an internship.

We get her back Saturday for a short week. Her roommates moved apartments this weekend. She'll have to go set up her room in the new apartment.

School starts August 22nd.

Local K-12 schools start this week.

My dd(23) will be starting college in last week of August, so will her dd (6). It’s going to be a crazy week.

And for this school year will be the first in our city since forever to start school before Labor Day.

Two grandsons in TX go to elementary school, and one granddaughter begins her second year of college later this month.

DD20 just went back to campus for RA training. I think her students start arriving on 8/15 and classes start 8/22. Public schools don't start until September here, so DD14 has a little more summer vacation ahead of her to enjoy, and she is very much enjoying gloating a bit with her friends who are going to the private HS over the fact that they start two weeks before she does.

We're in Canada, my kids don't go back to school until the Tuesday after Labour Day.
