I clicked niece and nephew, but they don’t start this month. Here, school starts after Labour Day.
DGD and DGS go to school on Thursday (which is also DS's BD).
DGS going into kindergarten and DGD into 4th grade.
No more Wednesday baking classes for usWe've been doing them for 2 years while they were home schooled.
It will be an adjustment for everyone after 2 years at home.
Not sure.....DGS only remembers home school. He just turn 3 when the pandemic hit and just in day care. He will be fine.Are they excited?

I never knew kids went back to school in August until 1977. When Elvis died there was a story about Memphis schools having a day off in remembrance.
The concept was way out of my comfort zone. What kind of idiots make kids go back before Labor Day?!!!!!
If it was up to me, school wouldn’t start until “real” fall, September 23, and go until July 1.
To celebrate your granddaughter's birthday!a lot of our schools started on July 20th
