I know I saw the first one in a theater. Not sure about the sequels. Maybe I should try and find them online.

I occasionally have to remind myself that there were actually dinosaurs, and they dominated the earth. The idea of it almost seems like a far-fetched movie plot! Same with the earth’s center being thousands of degrees. Things you know/learned but have to be reminded about once in a while, so your brain doesn’t start classifying them as science fiction.

I believe I’ve seen them all except for the last two (The only way I know for sure is that I know I’ve seen two separate movies with “Blue” in them).

The franchise is ok but the original movie is a masterpiece.

I've seen all the Jurassic Park movies and the first Jurassic World, so I'm behind. :) I read the books after the first movie years ago. DH & DD went to see the new movie last week.

We took our daughter to see the first movie when she was three. She absolutely loved it, even though she hid her eyes a couple of times. It sparked an interest and she couldn't get enough dinosaurs. I bought her a poster that showed 30+ dinosaurs and we'd spend hours going over each one and their scientific names. When I enrolled her for pre-school, I had to apologize that she didn't know her ABCs but "she is intelligent because she knows all the dinosaurs!" :p She has stayed a fan, loved when we visited Jurassic Park at Universal, and has seen all the movies. Once, at school when the phones had been down, she called me just to say "Mom! The phones are working!" in her best Dr. Grant voice.:rotfl2:

Saw the original one and maybe 1 or 2 others. They all seem to have a similar plot relating to dinosaurs/creatures and don't really seem that much different from each other. Strikes me as mostly an attempt to create a 'franchise' out of a single movie theme.

My mother began liking Jurassic Park when she bought it at Montgomery Ward and she "at the time" had a giant crush on Jeff Goldblum and we saw Jurassic Park and we loved it. I myself gained an interest in Jurassic Park when Jurassic World was a hit and I had a crush on the character Owen Grady and I fell in love with Blue and then I started collecting the action figures of Jurassic World and just like Mom I too developed a crush on Jeff Goldblum and my love of Jurassic Park continued to grow and I had more action figures and I even have a plush of Blue that is so cute and for Christmas I even got the Jurassic Park movie collection on DVD and I think when the book of Jurassic Park came out little did we know that a bestselling book would become a top movie and since it's release in 1993 I think Jurassic Park's popularity is about the same as Jaws. But ever since Jurassic World came out Jurassic Park has indeed scored a huge fanbase and even since 1993 Jurassic Park toys are still selling high on store shelves and with the popularity of Jurassic World how many children have you seen cuddle Blue plushies or how many kids you see dress up as Owen Grady on Halloween? And Jurassic Park has scored animated series on Netflix as well which also has a toy line too. I think the Jurassic Park franchise will continue to grow just like the Indiana Jones franchise and as I mentioned earlier Jaws and it shows that when a movie becomes a hit it is destined to become a classic for years to come

I've seen all but the newest one. (I'm looking forward to it.) I agree that the original was the best I've seen so far, but I do love the series in general. I have the first one as an audiobook and sometimes listen to it in the car.

I think I've only seen the original, but I might have watched one of the others. Clearly, they were memorable to me. ;)

I’ve seen the original and all or some of the first two sequels. As a young boy, my DS was obsessed with dinosaurs, and watched the videos multiple times. (He also loved Disney’s Dinosaur movie and The Land Before Time series.) From what I remember, the first one was the best, and the others okay, but I’m not interested in seeing any more.

I just learned a minute ago that there are so many JP movies. I thought the one released this summer was #5 🤷‍♂️
I put the JP movies in the same category as the Avitar movies. If I can happen to catch them in a good theater I will watch them, but the scripts for both are kinda weak and not really worth watching if you are not also experiencing the big screen and surround sound. YMMV
