We saw Taylor Swift last weekend. It was outdoors and big—broke the attendance record for Acrisure Stadium. We were in the cheap seats—I was waiting in that crazy line on-line that took almost an entire day last fall to get tickets. I think our seats were $120 plus fees. We had several groups going that we tailgated with—mostly our children and their friends.

Next month we have tickets for Ed Sheeran. That should be less crazy.
Taylor is coming to Europe next year and I have pre registered and I am getting ready for the online queue next month. It is worse than ADRs!

My husband plays in a concert band that has outdoor concerts through the summer. We've had two so far.

We do have tickets for 4 concerts at Ravinia this year!

I saw Dave Matthews Band 2 weeks ago at an outdoor amphitheater. I am seeing Phish for several nights of their 7 night run at Madison Square Garden.

I love live music. I prefer an indoor concert.

We've seen Elton John & Bruce Springsteen in the past year, those were arena shows. Last outdoor show was Ringo Starr and the All Starrs at an amphitheater in 2019. I think we're about done with concerts. We've seen all the big acts we wanted to see, several multiple times. The hassle and expense of getting tickets, and then dealing with the people and standing for several hours...we're just over it. Lots of good memories though, and I wouldn't rule out seeing a show in a smaller venue.

Barry Manlow about 8 years ago. The venue he played at has since closed and been torn down. It was ARCO Arena, home of the Sacramento Kings. The new venue, Golden One Center is downtown, no parking, so not going there. Although the few concerts I have looked at, the prices are now through the roof.

My sons love Imagine Dragons. But they hate loud music. 😂
I can relate. We see a lot of concerts at a small local venue (The Birchmere), mostly folk type artists with guitars. Saw the BoDeans last year and they were VERY loud for the small indoor space, wished I had earplugs!

We were there, too on Friday night. I also was online for about 5 hours getting tickets. I think I paid over $200/seat and our hotel was ridiculously expensive.
I was there on Saturday. We live nearby so no hotel and DH does some contract work for a company that’s a couple of blocks on the other side of PNC park so we were able to use their lot for free with his swipe card. The walk is long when you’re tired, but free is free.

Oldest DD also went Saturday night (she had better seats), but went to the Point (just outside the stadium) Friday night to hear the surprise songs. It was her birthday so she and her friends were out celebrating and ended up there.

I am no where near the fan that my kids are, but I do enjoy her music. We went to see her twice before and the first time was the kids first concert so it was a little nostalgic.

The whole thing was a lot though. Kids were ordering dresses/boots/glitter off Amazon, running to the mall, trying everything on, coordinating food/drinks etc. I was prepping food and baking Friday night. It felt like a holiday. We left the house at 11:15 AM Saturday morning and got home at 1 AM. I was exhausted. Glad we went, but glad it’s over.

I'm not really a live music person. It's way too loud for me to comfortably enjoy it but I definitely get the appeal. The last real concert I went to was Maroon 5 in 2010.

Tonight my parents are going to see Tears for Fears in concert and my sister is seeing Sam Smith next month.

DH and I just went to a 4 day country concert at the beach last weekend. Various artists each day. It was excellent. This is our third year going and we plan to go again next year.

We go to live theatre a lot but not really concerts. I love musicals theatre. I did not count Symphony when I voted but if we are counting that we did go to see the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra right before Christmas and it was in a smaller local theatre. Last singing concert I saw was Sarah McLachlan over 10 years ago also with the VSO . It was a smaller venue. My DH refuses to go to the large arena concerts.

Ironically DH and I have tickets to go see Diana Krall next month at a Winery so outdoors smaller venue.

My sons love Imagine Dragons. But they hate loud music. 😂
My son does too, by being in the lawn area of the amphitheater we were able to back up far enough that it wasn't too loud for him. He would have hated being close to the stage.

I took my niece to see My Chemical Romance in 2006 or 2007. I do believe that was the last concert I went to, but I could be wrong. I was just chaperoning that night, but they were fantastic. This December my Aunt and I are going to see Andrea Bocelli. She loves him so much and it was a bucket list thing for her.

I think the last one I saw was either Sam Hunt or Pitbull...complete opposite ends of the spectrum LOL

I said this year but I'm counting my daughter's high school choir concert. Anything else it has been a LONG time.

Garth Brooks April 2022 Tiger Stadium

Amazing! 102,000 people and a Garth-quake (small earthquake)

2019 U2. Under the Joshua Tree 2nd go around with Beck.

I think Zac Brown Band last fall was the last concert we went to. There haven't been anything going on this year yet. We are going to see Peter Frampton this coming Sunday. Will be the 3rd or 4th time we've seen him.
