Hi there!

I have read so much about this Slipper Dessert and questions about it being ordered... and etc. etc. etc. And, of course, I didn't pay attention 'cause I thought it could only be ordered at CRT! Which... I'm actually not very interested in.

Where can you order it to? I've since heard that some are ordering it other places... can someone explain? :earsgirl:

The slipper dessert is from GF and is made in their bakery. The CRT only added it for the 50th celebration so it might not stay permanently anyway.

You can order and have it if you are eating in a GF restaurant or staying at the GF. They need 48 hours notice. It's $14.

We ordered it for our dinner at 1900 Park fare last year.

I also think that I have read posts here where it is no longer available at CRT.

Anyone know if you can still order the dog bones, and if so, how many come on a plate?

TIA :flower:

These are also $14 at the GF:

When you had it at 1900 Park Fare did you order 48 hrs. in advance? Who did you call to order and the BIG question IS IT WORTH IT??
We're having dinner there in Dec.

I ordered before my trip, I think on a Friday and we ate there a few days later. So you can order it about a week before but no later then 48 hours. I don't have the number on me but you just call the GF's main number and they'll either transfer you to 1900 Park Fare or the bakery. Either one can help you.

It was nice and everyone was looking at us going 'wow'. It was more the presentation factor then anything else. My girls were full and aren't crazy about chocolate moose so I ended up eating most of it! The slipper itself was good. I like white chocolate. The moose was rich.

It's a rich dessert. I'm glad I did it but don't know if we'd do it again. I actually preferred the mini wedding cake, although that expensive and I'd only do it for special occasions.

I called GF @ 407-824-2474 and ordered 1 to be served at the afternoon tea @ Garden view lounge. They took my CC# when I ordered but advsd was only to secure my order and it would not be charged, they will add the cost to our bill. This is the first time I've ever orderd one so I cannot tell you yet whether it was worth it. I ordered it for my DD 8 so it's really just for show, regardless of how it taste she's gonna love it cause it is especially for her. They will even write a message on the plate for you.
