Slipper Dessert at Narcoossees...?

Would anyone have any pics of the slipper dessert at Narcoossees...or know how to go about ordering it? Also, is it available in White Chocolate only, or can you get Milk Chocolate?

I'm trying to plan a surprise for my Anniversary to thank DH for being so "sweet"

I'd strongly urge you to get the Almond Crusted Cheesecake instead at Narcoossee's. It has been lauded as one of the best desserts in WDW. I don't even like cheese cake and I loved the bite I had of my Mom's serving. The presentation was also jaw dropping. I'm sure they'll do something special if they know its for your anniversary, especially if its from you to DH.

Honestly, does your DH really want to tell the boys he got a Cinderella slipper gift?

You call GF private dining for this.
Call 407-824-3000 and ask them to connect you to private dining.
Tell them where are you dining and that you want the slipper.

i'm planning to get not only the almond crusted cheesecake, but will also arrange to get a mini castle cake when we dine at narcoosees!

(might even get a 2nd almond crusted cheesecake "to go" - it's that good!)

We ordered it several years ago, though we were dining at the GF Cafe. It's very pretty, and I ate off mine, but it's just a chunk of solid white chocolate... my DH is not a big chocolate person and he didn't eat any of his (I ate his chocolate mousse thing). I don't know if you can sub the white for milk; they can tell you when you place the order.

I didn't call private dining but instead the GF Bakery directly. Sorry I don't have the number I used anymore.

Here's a miniature castle cake that we ordered last fall from the GF Bakery - it was $25. We ordered vanilla cake with buttercream filling ... it tasted wonderful but was almost too pretty to eat.

My Goodness that's gorgeous! Do they have a website with more pictures/flavors or do you have to call? Any info would be MUCH apprecaited. I think ordering one of those with the flavors from our wedding cake would be an awesome surprise!

When you order the miniature cake there is only the choice of vanilla or chocolate. If you were to order a full size cake I think you have more options to customize your order. If you call the Grand Floridian and ask to speak with someone in the bakery they can give you all kinds of information. They've always been very helpful.

FYI on the slipper - the cost is $14.50 and if you decide to order that or the miniature cake you only need to call about two weeks in advance of your dinner reservation. If you want a custom order I think you should probably call sooner rather than later.

Oh, and the slipper dessert is pretty darn tasty, too. And my hubby enjoys eating it as much as I do, so if you want to get one for the both of you I say go for it!
