Slime Time Live Tip

Just back from our 5 day WDW and 2 day Universal/IOA trip and boy do I have a Slime time live tip. The show is in production Mon-Fri until May 27th. I know that alot of people wait in line for hours ( like I just recently did) to get tickets to be in the audience and to have a chance to get your child on the show well if you arrive where they pass out the tickets around 1:10 p.m. and just hang around the nick store across from the line by 1:20-1:30 they will start asking children ages 9-15 to get in a line on the curb (you need not be waiting in line for an audience ticket to do this) They ask your childs name and the children that are the loudest and the most excited get to go on. (My daughter I must say was the most quietest). After they do this process and if your child is picked you automaticly get tickets for the show with no waiting in line. I however will never ever wait for ticket to be in the audience again. Reason- You are only there to clap and make alot of noise. You cannot hear the taping you can not move or anything you just sit there and clap and scream on cue. My daughter did get a pair of shrek ears for being there but she woudl of much rather have been slimed. What I will be doing next time is trying to get her on as stated by only getting there at 1:10 then when the show begins at 4:00 STAND ALONG THE FENCE AND VIEW AND HEAR IT ALL. Dave even goes over to the people along the fence and talks to them more than the people in the audience. They even get pied along the fence and mind you they did not have to wait for hours for tickets to do this. If anyone has any questions about this please dont hesitate to cantact me I will be more than willing to explain a little better. Also Tiena is no longer taping at universals studios however they did mention that Double Dare will be coming back very soon. I can's wait.

Thanks to your wonderful and very informational site you have, I was able to get the information I needed to get there and learn sooooo much about the park ect. The phone #'s you suppy are a great help because that is how I knew when they would be taping so I was able to schedule my vacation accordingly. I hope this information helps out alot of people that does not have much time to be waiting in 2 hour lines. I will be heading back in Oct and hoping Double Dare will be shooting at that time. I will post when I return.

Just wanted to say that I was at US in FEb 2001 and they were picking kids out by the Nick line at 11:30 am. I don't know if the time is always the same.My daughter was picked to be on and won a bike.

ellieb: Why will they not being doing Slime Time Live after May 27? We will be there June 25-30 and my kids were hoping to at least see the show!!!!! Will they be taping other Nick shows? My boys also love the Amanda Show. Thanks!

I am really not sure why May 27th I do know that it was posted by a very large banner where the stage was set up. Maybe they will restart again in June since tons of children are on vacation. If you go to http://www.theotherorlando.com/index.html

I wish they had a site that posted all of the dates and shows that would be in production because it would make my vacation planner a lot easier.
